here is an update, they shipped it today. I'm a T-Mobile customer - I get it next Thursday if not earlier :D

Apple US, CA. 32gb gold AT&T. Ordered @12:12 at lunch. Preparing for shipment just now. 7-10 business day on the order.

I ordered the same thing at 12:09 and i'm still stuck at processing.... great. That makes me feel good that this is an queued process by Apple.
 
Had some errands to run today which took me by the Apple store so I decided to drop in. They had the 32gb space Gray I had on order so I cancelled my online order and walked out with one 10 minutes later.
 
Ordered at 12:05pm PST and my cancel button disappeared on Thursday and shipped on Friday. Will be here Oct 1! Was scheduled for 7-10 days

Got it!

I got tired of waiting and visited my local Apple store this afternoon around 2:00. They had the 5S I wanted in stock (64GB Verizon Space Grey), so I called Apple, canceled my online order. Less than 5 minutes later, my upgrade was freed up. I walked out of there in less than 10 minutes with my new 5S in hand. Loving it so far!
 
How come? You either order at launch and get the phone as quickly as possible, or you wait a month or two and get your phone then. Just order and wait, it's simple :p

Exactly. I waited overnight in line and they didn't even get one of the phone I wanted (that's what I won't be doing again. Though if I'd been on AT&T I might have gotten what I wanted). Just order and wait. Only way to not be disappointed-- just set your expectations accordingly. Kinda nuts how spoiled we've become with instant gratification :D

How long has it been in Zhengzhou? Almost a day? I wonder if it is actually still there or if the departure has occurred but the notification has just not worked its way through to you yet? Also, I thought these were made in Shengzen but if so, it seems odd they ship to another city to fly out. Interesting.

According to UPS, my phone has been in ZhengZhou for 36 hours! (Taking into account timezones.)
 
Anyone who has had their phones shipped, can you check https://supportprofile.apple.com/ and see if your phone is showing the right color? I'm a little concerned that I ordered a space gray and mine is showing a white phone. All of my previous iPhones in that list have the correct color, so I don't see why the 5s would be any different.
 
With a Tracking number (UPS).... but no ETA and no other shipping information, only ZhengZhou, China 09/28/2013 8:00 A.M. Origin Scan :confused:

Tracking information has since been updated and I've managed to bring up my tracking in UPS. Says the order left Shenzhen this evening and expected delivery is 2/10/13. Does this mean my phone will be delivered to my house on Wednesday?! Apple still quoting 7th but tracking on Apple's website says Wednesday too. :confused:

Looks like my order is set to arrive on the 2nd instead of the 7th! Thanks UPS and Apple! Can't wait to finally get my 5s!

I ordered a white phone and mine is white. I honestly wouldn't worry about it. As long as your order on Apple.com shows the space gray, I'm sure you'll get a space gray.
 
My order was placed on 9/20 at about 12:05 AM California time, like 5 minutes after the pre-orders opened up.

I'm still stuck on Processing :(

Mine shows a white phone but doesn't say white anywhere (I ordered grey). I think they just use the same image for all models here.
 
Called apple, got my shipping moved to next day, so once it's shipped it'll be here ASAP

Authorization of cad what sort of answer is that it takes seconds to check authorization of card

How does one go about asking Apple for a shipping upgrade? I would be very interested in getting it.

I got it by asking to upgrade my shipping speed. Well first I asked about changing the color of my phone frm Silver to Gold but decided against it since that would mean I would have to wait longer. When I asked how much extra it would cost, she simply said "oh there will be no charge, we can do that for you because we know getting these phones are important" Best. Customer. Service. Ever....
