I've heard nothing either. Didn't even get a confirmation of my order. Ordered at 9am black 7+ 128gb. Getting a bit of a joke. Live chat said I should recieve a tomorrow. Let's hope there right!

Hi folks. New to this but I've read through the posts.
I just don't understand the lack of info coming from o2. Surely someone must know when they are going to receive enough phones to cover the pre/back orders. I'm waiting on a 128 mb 7+ and a 128 rose 7+. I've never heard a thing from o2. The gurus talk rubbish. I honestly don't think they have a clue. Has anyone heard anything?
 
I've just received confirmation that my contract has been transferred over to my new plan and I have been given my DPD tracking number, should be able to collect it from my local o2 store tomorrow.

Was advised my order would be available on the 23rd

I wouldn't be suprised if there were an awful lot of 128gb Matte Black customers that ordered earlier than me who will still be waiting. I've received one email and one text update to advise about the delay, so on the one hand it's not been too late, but on the other hand this hasn't been a great experience.

I can promise there won't be a Matte black 128Gb plus being dispatched tonight. I'm looking forward to O2s "apology" text tomorrow at 10am

I queried the absence of the o2 helpers on the o2 forum and they would not allow any queries about the role of the moderators there. So you can post queries there but no one from o2 will respond. When confronted they delete the post!

It's nonsense. There is a 100% lack of transparency. Nobody seems to know anything. All we want to know is when we're getting our new phone. I'm sure Apple have told o2 when a delivery is arriving.
 
I'm just entirely dumbfounded how there's movement purely in storage capacity. How on earth Apple thought it would be logistically an idea to prioritise lower capacity models over anything else.

Absolutely zero movement on anything above 32gb. I've seen a few 256gb doing the rounds but not a single 128gb.

I think most of the U.K. Must be waiting on a 128gb. I regret ordering the 128 in black now. The lack of info is unbelievable.

I deliberately avoided the black models to try and get my 7 plus sooner. I went for a 256Gb Gold - The O2 site said up to 2 weeks lead time on 9/9

I still have no idea when it might arrive.
 
Spoke to another 'chat advisor' this morning. With all due respect, I've learnt not to believe a word they say.
But was told specifically by the lady this morning that their latest update from O2 was that all iPhone 7+ Pre-orders will now have a 3 week waiting time.

We'll be text this later today, apparently.
 
Another day with absolutely nothing. The update they have posted is an utter disgrace. Word for word the same update as last week. They have changed the date. Total nonsense

So those of us who preordered on the 9th have a 3 week wait time from now? Or new preorders have a 3 week wait time?
 
I ordered on launch day around 8 something in the morning. No communication from O2. I have called around 6 times and been told something different every single time. I have then in turn emailed them and got this response.
They just don't care. I am going to cancel the upgrade and purchase directly from Apple.

The lack of knowledge or information from o2 is shocking. They honestly seem to no nothing. Someone must know something. Surely.

I could only wait so long. I wasn't even desperate for the phone to be fair, its just now knowing what these numpties are doing that infuriates me more than anything. If they had said from the get go, Nov delivery thats fine. I guess its all about managing expectations. Not about grabbing peoples money and then telling them nothing.

That's my feelings exactly. Why take people's money if you don't have the item. All I want is an answer as to when it's coming. All were getting is total lies. They must know when they are getting stock to complete the orders. Just tell us.

This is it precisely! Manage the expectations from the start and you won't have thousands of people complaining or ringing to ask where there phone is.
What I don't get is why they didnt just take a payment promise instead of a full payment. That way we wouldn't be out of pocket until the device physically dispatched. Again this would save countless problems (IMHO anyway)

I think the way they have acted is atrocious. They had no right taking money from us for something that didn't exist. On the o2 forum I'm reading people are getting black and jet black despatched. At least they are keeping people informed.
 
Incredible - My 7 Plus Gold 256GB is being shipped for delivery tomorrow. Ordered 9/9 at about 5pm
