My order confirmation email was received at 0358 EST time and my status is still in process with a shipping estimate of "November".

Ordered at Jet black 128GB throught the upgrade program (first time upgrade). Anyone else with such a huge delay?
 
During the iPhone 6 Plus launch is was first 2 weeks behind the launch day delivery. On that Monday or Tuesday my order had moved up. Got my plus on launch date that year. Hopefully things start moving early this week.

Exactly if people are patient I am sure we will see at least some movement in the next couple days. Sure not everyone with a september date is going to get it launch day, but I fully expect a lot of us will end up pleasantly surprised.

That year it changed 2 or 3 days before the launch date. I believe I received a message saying good news your order is shipping from apple early in the morning.

My wife got her phone via ups and mine came 3 hours later via fed ex.
 
Isn't the whole point of the preorder to avoid the mess at the store? Why is there so much concern over a few days?

Shipping expedited. Simply asked and was granted. No muss no fuss.

I received an email from Apple saying that there was an issue with my credit card on file, and my order was placed on hold. Apparently in the haze of my 3:05 am order I mistyped my billing address. Got that all sorted out, and he said I should be receiving an email tonight with my shipping information shortly after he runs my card.

I ordered a 7+ 128GB Jet Black. :D

You get 24hrs anyways to fix the issue so its not that big of a deal..

I called into the chat and asked them to expedite my 256gb JB +, and they said sure, how quickly do you want it? I said, how about last year. They said OK, because I was pretty friendly, and I've had mine for almost a year now. Nearly eligible for an upgrade, and all because I was kind to the chat representative I called in to talk with.

May just depend on what chat rep you get though...

What other thread? I wasn't saying it to be mean I was just letting him know or anyone else that this issue may happen to that they do have 24hrs to fix the issue......

Wait... Those notifications only come up once Apple tries to authorize your card. Could it be possible they tried to charge you (meaning it's preparing to ship)?
