UPS' mess is never ending. One of my coworker's phone was delivered yesterday to Apple store instead of his home. When he saw delivered and signed but didn't see the phone at his apartment complex office, he called UPS, first they didn't have a clue and then they said that it was delivered to Apple store and driver was going back there to pick up the phone. When driver went back, he couldn't find the phone for an hour and UPS didn't call back with an update, my coworker went to Apple store and they told him that they found the phone and driver left just 10 minutes back.

UPS99 out of Incheon supposedly left at 9:14 AM EST but I can't confirm if it actually left or not. No departure scan yet for me if it did, still have the last timestamp of 8:01 PM local time.

Weird... FlightAware doesn't show UPS99 in the air. Google on the other hand when you search 'UPS99' shows that it's on its way to Anchorage.

Google also indicates that their information is 5+ hours old, so there's a good chance it was in fact delayed but Google isn't reporting it yet.

Google I think goes by where its "supposed" to be based on when it "should" have taken off. FlightAware I thought used different data.

I guess on a positive note UPS can't say they rescheduled my delivery because as it stands I have no clue when that will be anyways. I'm due for a vacation to Korea anyways.

Seems like the UPS 99 isn't in the air - it's not showing up here either: https://www.flightradar24.com/flight/5x99

Got a departure from zhengzhou China 10 minutes after arrival in Korea :confused::confused:

What is going on? Hoping Friday is still a reality

I think there is a 1 hour timezone difference between the 2 cities, so times may appear out of order there since it is such a short flight (less than 1 hour I believe).

In other news, just chatted with UPS for the hell of it, and yes they are completely clueless.

Nothing else can go wrong, right?

So let's all just assume UPS99 hasn't left yet because they're working to pack in a couple more palettes of phones and makeup the lost time in the air. ;)

I don't even want to see another post a pic of their iPhone in here it makes me sick because of the ******** we got left with.

There have also been scans leaving incheon at 1:30am which is 12:30pm on other days so fingers crossed for that

That's some seriously wishful thinking! Maybe they can cram all the 8:01 pallet phones and the 1:05AM ZZ, China phones on the plane together. That'll work! :D

I'm just waiting for confirmation on it but I have a feeling that the 8:01 folks are going to make the flight and we're going to be left sitting for the next plane... which is going to cause a Monday deliver instead of a Friday delivery.

That would be more than 3 hour delay on that flight. It's only an MD-11F, so they can't make up too much of that time as they are stretched on distance there anyway... The range of the freighter variety is 3,950 nm, while that flight covers approx. 3,314 nm. So, with a full load of fuel and plus-sized iPhones, as well as crew which have been gorging themselves on banchan for the past 36 hours, I don't think they can make the scheduled departure time to Kentucky, meaning that these phones might miss their connections to the various nationwide hubs tomorrow and be pushed back to delivery on Monday.

TL;DR - we're foooked

I think the incheon flight did finally depart because I can't find it on flightaware. I could be wrong

Seriously whoever good with using flightaware please find out if our flight is in the air or if UPS just ass ****ed us for the fifth time

So I did some checking. I believe that UPS99 had to cancel because of a broken airplane. I'm still trying to get ahold of my friend who works at UPS to be sure, but I think everyone who was expecting Friday from that flight might be screwed.
