Late to this, as I haven't ordered the phone, but am an aviation enthusiast. Who said this was delayed by weather, and where is your phone currently located?

Sigh... I'm also in the Incheon "severe weather" crowd (what the actual F?)...
To echo someone else's question: Any chance for Saturday delivery via UPS??
Got it. I ask, because let's see if UPS is indeed telling the truth.
First up, hit up FlightAware's Live iPhone Tracker:
http://flightaware.com/live/iphone
Yes, this will be live, and actually shows flights that could contain iPhones that would leave China, Taiwan, S. Korea, and Japan for the US. As we know, we'll see the flights there. If you're really into it, you could even cross that with the ATC feeds from LiveATC.net to actually LISTEN to ATC for your flight.
But back to the weather. if UPS is saying that, you could verify that by hitting up a site like Skyvector.com. The purpose of this site is mainly to show you airports, airways that flights will use en route, and charts. In this case, if you
- hit up skyvector,
- center around S. Korea and Japan (you can even span out to get Hong Kong into the picture as well)
- Select Layers, then check Icing, Turbulence, and toggle between either Weather Radar or Satellite IR4
You should be able to see the weather around not only the airports involved for the UPS flights out of China/Far East, but any weather phenomena along the route those flights would take to Anchorage.
This may give you some insight into what UPS is saying, but also does call them out if they tell you some BS story.
