No. It would be even more massive then my 17". The 20-inch machines aren't even close to portable unless it is part of a mobile rig.

You also need a poll.

Why not. I probably would if the resolution was that of the 30" display. 2560x1600.

I'd prefer it if it was swivel and touch screen would be fun playing around in photoshop on it. I'm pretty sure a device like that would start around $3000 if Apple made it.

on second thought, nah probably not.

Nooo thank you that would be too big for my bag and I probably wouldn't want to carry that for more than a day.

Absolutely not. It'd be way too big and heavy. There's absolutely no need for a laptop to have a screen that big. That's where the iMac comes in.

I would like to see a 30" iMac though.

I cannot honestly see why anyone would want a 20 inch laptop.
Nevertheless...
I made a mockup!
Couple of different ideas here.
Attachment 1: 20" MacBook Pro with number pad (borrowed from my idea here)
Attachment 2: 20" MacBook Pro with full Apple Keyboard
Attachment 3: 20" MacBook Pro with silly iPhone dock idea.

These are purely for mockup purposes. Don't actually want any of them.

EDIT: just realised ive done the size ratio for the iphone terribly wrong i am fixing it

No. I wouldn't buy an iMac either.

+1 :D

I am sure there will always be people who want one but when Apple is already so reluctant to give what the majority want, how likely are they to satisfy the needs of the minority?

Surely you've gotta be like Usain Bolt (tall and strong) to call a 20" laptop even close to portable.

That's just a ridiculous question. And I don't see why people would choose an iMac instead. MacBook pro - portable. iMac - Desktop.
