When people get old, they start to miss things and gradually fail. Steve Jobs was not like that. #NeedNewManagement

I hope Apple stop supporting iPad 2, 3 and 4 with iOS 10.

Let iOS 10 work flawlessly on iPad Air and better, and DON'T try to sell the argument that the latest iOS still works on 5 year old iPads.

EDIT: Even better:
Touch ID enabled devices only for iOS 10.

I was wondering if the software update did fix the issues that some people were having with the SE's bluetooth? I have a 9.7" iPad Pro and it is doing great on the new update. I have the Wi-fi + Cellular 128 GB model. I wonder if this an issue with a certain subset of 9.7" models.

Apple:
We can't reproduce this issue, but we'll release an update with some additional safeguards. iOS 9.3.3 will erase Safari browser and lock your iPad Pro in the proper orientation.

When a software problem is not widespread, it likely involves a unique combination of factors. So even using beta testers you might not encounter the exact configuration that causes the issue.

For example, it might require a certain set of software to be installed and opened it a certain order. It's easy to find a problem that crashes every iPad, but one that affects only one out of 1000 can be difficult to find.

I'm not giving Apple a pass, but non OS programmers typically have no idea about how complicated it is to make software that works across multiple devices that can be impacted by third party apps.

People complain about Apple not letting developers use system functionality (e.g. using siri in third party apps), but that only increases the likelihood that one of those developers implements something poorly, resulting in a crash that Apple gets blamed for.

Hopefully it's a software restore fix.. I really don't feel like waiting at the genius bar tonight...

I was at the Genius bar last night and we were unable to get it resolved. We tried downloading the 9.3.1 IPSW and installing it with the iPad in DFU mode to no avail. Furthermore, they didn't have any iPad Pros in their warranty replacement stock and they were unwilling to take one out of their retail stock. So I am sitting here with an $849 brick. I think anyone that got bit with this will require a hardware replacement. If DFU mode fails, you are pretty much screwed.

I'm glad my iPad Pro hasn't yet notified me of this upgrade.

With Apple updates these days it always pays to wait and see before upgrading.
