Use the following code

SLICKPHONE4

to get 35% (no max. discount) off your iPhone 4 warranty from Squaretrade. My 2 year warranty with accidental damage was only $80.

would this be a very intelligent thing to do? Trying to decide if i should go ahead and purchase it

Will this work WITH applecare? If I purchase this do they request a serial? What if its something small that applecare will take of and I can go exchange it at a store for free, will my squartrade warranty no longer work?

Technically, it's only an additional 15% off

It's already $99, 20% off from the original.

the 30% off is on the $123.75 price :)

Still a great deal. I need my iPhone 4 to get here soon so I can order. Hopefully the code won't expire any time soon.

I've never bought a warranty for any of my iPhones, but this really is tempting. $80.44 (after coupon code) for up to 2 years complete coverage. Probably a better investment than the lousy $30 bumper. Hmmm....

Was also able to cancel my $99 plan which I got yesterday for a full refund and then re-buy with this coupon code. Thanks!

Isnt it true that if they have to replace the phone they will make you sign a new 2 year contract with att in order to get the phone? Thats a big turn off

I don't see where you get this info from. They state if they need to replace they will credit you for the price of an unsubsidized iphone model.

Question, guys.

When SquareTrade asks for the purchase date do they want:

June 15 (pre-order from apple.com)
June 23 (my delivery + acitvation date)
June 24 (official launch)

Don't wanna screw this up!

Whatever it says on your receipt, since you'll have to fax them a copy of it.

So, I'd love some clarification on this. Will they reimburse me for a full unsubsidized iphone? The website does say:

"For reimbursements, we will pay you the replacement cost of your iPhone with a new 2-year contract from your carrier, up to a maximum of $599. If accidental damage was the cause of the failure, we will subtract a $50 deductible from the payout."

So, if I drop my 32gb iPhone 4 and it shatters, I'll be out the original 80 bucks, plus a 50 dollar deductible, but they'd give me $599 towards the replacement iPhone? Which leaves me out another 100 bucks. Am I seeing this correctly?

And if I'm clear, loss is not covered by this, only accidents.

This kinda sucks:

If your warranty is bought on the same day as your item, then ADH coverage begins immediately, otherwise ADH coverage begins 30 days after purchase, and does not cover willful damage, negligent use, theft or loss. A $50 deductible applies on ADH-related claims for Cell Phones only.

If we pre-ordered the 15th, then accidental damage isn't covered for another 20 days. And if it starts on the day you actually received your item, then we missed immediate protection by a few hours!
