A New Browser is needed for Mac OS 9

The only thing I can offer is to install Virtual PC 6 and Windows 2000, and run Kmeleon (slow) or Retrozilla (better speed) within. This setup works well for me on my Mini G4 running OS 9 unsupported. The latest Win2K versions of the browsers can be found here (along with many other tools). Other Windows 2000 updates, some required (updated root certificates,etc), can be found here.

You can always use ssh and modern text based browsers like links2. Yes it’s not running on bare metal but still doing the exact same thing

Edit: I realized I said the same thing in 2020… I can tell you how to do this in current year if you need help

this project https://github.com/autc04/Retro68 allows you to build a gcc12 cross compiler for 68k MacOS, with needed supporting tools (assembler, linker).

I built it last year successfully, on an ARM mac, and used it to build a few simple 68K apps as a proof-of-life.
