If us beta testers updated to the public version, will it prevent us from updating future beta versions?

Also is the public version exactly the same as the beta 14.2?
Seems like the public release of iOS 14.2 is a slightly different build than the latest one that was available as part of the beta program.

Installing the public release shouldn't affect you being able to get beta updates in the future -- that mainly depends on whether or not you have the beta profile installed.

Thanks c DM. I have the beta profile and want to continue to download future beta versions.

So will I be safe to download the public version?
