Whats the big idea with the wobble lol. Do people play that close attention to their phones when they're resting face down on a flat surface?

Look at it! That thing is more unstable than Lindsay Lohan. XD I don't want to be liable for tapping my phone too hard and having it flip up and knock someone out. Can't wait for my phone though.

This video shows the display zoom.

Is that why the five rows of icons fill the height of the screen, as opposed to every other picture of the home screen?

Never been a fan of the gold iPhone and with the 6, I'm even less of a fan. Yuck!

Personally, I had my heart set on the plus. However, I lift at the gym (while phone is in pocket) and do cardio often so I know carrying around a big phone like that wouldn't be worth it.

Also, I figured I could do without the OIS as it's not that big of a deal for me. It all comes down to what works best in everyday situations.

I use my phone at the gym too and I went for the PLus. I think I'm gonna buy a flipbelt, seems like it can fit a Note 3/4 so I'm sure the iPhone + can squeeze in. It doesn't make sense to have a phone that big in an armband.

Lol, if the i6 camera was flush and Android phones weren't, you would be slating them for it ;-)
What are the positives of a protruding camera module? None.
What are the negatives? Instability whilst laid flat, and scratches to the ring around the camera.

I would prefer the body to be thicker and the camera to be flush. Does anyone actually prefer the body a tad thinner and the camera sticking out? Lemme guess, because Apple have done this it's actually preferable...

I couldn't tell you the name of one android phone aside from Galaxy. And even that I couldn't point out in a line up. So that argument is out the window buddy. I buy iPhones cuz of how sleek they are and how well iOS runs. And while a flush camera might be preferable to some, I don't see it being something to really complain about. ...Rather the whole phone be thinner and that tiny little lens protrude 1/16 of a millimeter

Yes, it makes the screen like the 5s but bigger.

Exactly. Display Zoom seems to take the existing iPhone 5/5S point layout and scales it up to the new screen size. Kind of cool to see that in action, haven't seen anyone else show that mode yet.

this same reason here 4.7 is perfect size

Yes, that's perfect for old people but I'll go with the regular zoomed out version. However that screen zooming/scaling and multiplying pixels automatically thing is the exact thing that will happen when you open apps not optimised for the iPhone 6 4.7" screen. (which will be almost all besides the native apps)

We won't even know which apps are optimised for iPhone 6 yet. "Maybe they optimised it but didn't decide to take advantage of new screen real estate, maybe they didn't and iPhone 6 is just using the scaling technology..."

So what if you use your phone at the gym. Keep it in your pocket while you lift. I can't see how that would be distracting unless ur doing snatches cleans or jerks..then maybe it can be annoying. Cardio is a diff story but thats why treadmills have cup holders LOL

Yup. I'm mostly interested in display zoom for my parents, lol.

jesus the back of the new iphone looks so cheap and tacky, surely they couldve done a far better job

Some people text while on a flat surface. With new keyboards like swipe this could get annoying/difficult.

Highly doubt this will affect your every day usage. If it does and you lose sleep come back and bump this thread. I'm curious to hear about it

If you text every day like that, why wouldn't it effect your every day usage?

I am not one to use my phone this way. If I was I also wouldn't lose sleep. Minor notable annoyance does not equal losing sleep over something, at least not in my world.

The only way I'll get the iPhone 6 over the 6 plus its if they had both the exact same specs, I mean I know the 6 plus is a little too big to some, but a 1080p screen, better battery life, slightly better camera is worth the upgrade to me.

I agree, they could've made a better back, the space grey looks alright but the gold/silver just needed to look different imo...

6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christ

That protruding camera would do my nut in. At least Samsung place it centrally for stability.
Also how many presses is the poor home button going to get if people minimise the rows of icons all the time? A double press used to bring up the app tray, how do you obtain that now?

You don't actually depress home button to minimize the rows. You just touch it. Huge difference.
