Adobe Says Photoshop on M1 Runs 50% Faster Than 2019 Intel-Based MacBook

Expected to see industry standard Photoshop benchmark results for comparison but nothing. How about a more recent CPU comparison?

Update: From extrapolation, if Photoshop performance on M1 is ~50% faster than 2019 Macbook Pro with high end i7-8557U CPU option which is equivalent to i7-8565U on this chart then it's on par with latest Intel Tiger Lake i7-1165G7.

It’s a shame Apple didn’t choose Gx for the naming moniker, because eventually we’d finally have a G5 in the Power(er, Mac)Book. 
It was blazing fast for its time.

If I recall it’s 50% faster than a similarly specked Intel and missing a few features as well. Doesn’t really sound ready for prime time.
yeah, but there was an equal probability that Adobe’s horrible code would actually get slower some how.
The missing features are not used by most folks.

You know, kind of like how some comic book issues come out with 4 different collectible covers, because they know people will buy all 4 covers.
Intel will now have different collectible stickers on PCs. Gotta get 'em all!
