After E3... Which console are you buying?

Its slightly beefier but the overall dimensions are very similar, i also hate the layout of the analogue sticks, the Xbox controller is vastly superior for FPS games. Im sorry but i own a 360 and PS3 and have since launch, from my experience Xbox live is lightyears ahead of PSN, Sony has alot of catching up to do and im sure its the reason they are charging to play online now.
It's still not a huge controller, but having held one it's definitely bigger, weightier and has much better feedback on the buttons and sticks. I haven't held the Xbox One controller yet but my faves are the Wii U Pro and PS4 controllers, overtaking the 360 as my old fave.

I will be getting the PS4 as well btw but i may wait a month or two to save up for it, i enjoy playing the exclusives from both platforms. For example all the people not getting the Xbone are going to miss out on Titanfall :)

It's coming to 360 and PC too, and didn't they hint it's coming to PS4 as well? It looks pretty bad compared to other games shown at E3, and it's running on the Source engine (not exactly known for its amazing graphics).

Since you have demo'd the new controller, please tell me they fixed the squishy triggers L2/R2. I hate playing FPS using the shoulder buttons rather than the triggers. Main reason why I stay on Xbox.

Preordered the xbox one right after E3. The DRM didn't really concern me. Now that Microsoft has change its stance i suspect they will really start moving.

Which will likely being going to the PS4 a year or so later. 1st party titles are the only true exclusives.

I want to play games as soon as they are released, not a year later. Ive always had both consoles, any true gamer is the same, i don't care about the fanboy BS i just want to play all the great games the day they are released.

I would never buy a game on launch day anymore. I guess I am not a true gamer then. Sounds really expensive!

I play the same great games as you do. I just play them a few months later and spend a lot less money that way. I don't think I enjoy them any less that way though! :)

You misread my post, i said true gamers usually own both consoles referring to the silly fanboyism that exists between Microsoft and Sony. I said i want to play games when they are first released buts that's my own preference.

Gotcha. :)

I still don't fully agree though. It is entirely possible (and not uncommon) to own only one system and not be a "fanboy".

But I do see what you are getting at. Fanboyism is for obnoxious kids, not people who truly just want to enjoy the amazing games we are lucky enough to have available to us. :)

It's such a strange phenomenon really, that got hugely amplified by the internet. When I was a kid, some friends (and I) owned a Super Nintendo, while other friends owned a Sega Genesis. It was always more like "cool! what games do you have on your system?", rather than "boo! your system sucks, mine is superior!"

Only the Neo Geo guy was like: Pah, both your systems are ****! :D

Never really understood why they didn't release two different sizes. PS controller was always really uncomfortable for me to use, although I liked their layout. Guess asian market is ergonomically quite different to the 'western' one, so no idea why not offer more than one choice? Can't be that difficult.

Yep that was the exact point i was trying to make :) Basically true gamers care about the games , not the console brand.

Well isn't this interesting;

PS4 controllers bigger than Xbox One.

Yes the PS4 controller looks to be an improvement but Asymmetric thumb sticks are much better imo.

It's always the same for me. I'm going to buy whichever console most of my friends have.. the friends I like a lot count as two friends :p

Xbox one which I preordered the first day I've been there done that with psn and the ps3 on launch Xbox live is just leaps and bounds above psn say what you want about Xbox one but there is a reason why everyone plays all the big online games on Xbox live

ps4. Playstation almost always has better exclusives. Plus I don't need or ever want a kinect. I've already pre-ordered my ps4.
