Pre-ordered the PS4 right after the E3 conference. I might pick up the Xbox One when it gets a price drop.
It's still not a huge controller, but having held one it's definitely bigger, weightier and has much better feedback on the buttons and sticks. I haven't held the Xbox One controller yet but my faves are the Wii U Pro and PS4 controllers, overtaking the 360 as my old fave. Its slightly beefier but the overall dimensions are very similar, i also hate the layout of the analogue sticks, the Xbox controller is vastly superior for FPS games. Im sorry but i own a 360 and PS3 and have since launch, from my experience Xbox live is lightyears ahead of PSN, Sony has alot of catching up to do and im sure its the reason they are charging to play online now.
I will be getting the PS4 as well btw but i may wait a month or two to save up for it, i enjoy playing the exclusives from both platforms. For example all the people not getting the Xbone are going to miss out on Titanfall![]()

It's coming to 360 and PC too, and didn't they hint it's coming to PS4 as well? It looks pretty bad compared to other games shown at E3, and it's running on the Source engine (not exactly known for its amazing graphics).
Since you have demo'd the new controller, please tell me they fixed the squishy triggers L2/R2. I hate playing FPS using the shoulder buttons rather than the triggers. Main reason why I stay on Xbox.
Which will likely being going to the PS4 a year or so later. 1st party titles are the only true exclusives.
I want to play games as soon as they are released, not a year later. Ive always had both consoles, any true gamer is the same, i don't care about the fanboy BS i just want to play all the great games the day they are released.
I would never buy a game on launch day anymore. I guess I am not a true gamer then. Sounds really expensive!
I play the same great games as you do. I just play them a few months later and spend a lot less money that way. I don't think I enjoy them any less that way though!![]()
You misread my post, i said true gamers usually own both consoles referring to the silly fanboyism that exists between Microsoft and Sony. I said i want to play games when they are first released buts that's my own preference.
It's such a strange phenomenon really, that got hugely amplified by the internet. When I was a kid, some friends (and I) owned a Super Nintendo, while other friends owned a Sega Genesis. It was always more like "cool! what games do you have on your system?", rather than "boo! your system sucks, mine is superior!"
But I do see what you are getting at. Fanboyism is for obnoxious kids, not people who truly just want to enjoy the amazing games we are lucky enough to have available to us.

Even without watching E3 my choice was PS4 due the exclusives, but after the E3 i still remained with PS4!
To be honest I think PS should show more exclusives, seems like Xbox is on a roll right now.
