True those phone batteries had a major design flaw. The anode and cathode were placed too close, there was no fix. Sometimes the battery manufacturer would expose the batteries to humidity during manufacturing. That would cause swelling and degradation, overheating. Terrible but a manufacturing error not a design flaw. Could be deliberate hiding of problem by sub-contractor. S/b a crime
Sure....I had +15 chargers, none of them USB-C, now I bough two from Apple.
Did anybody not expect this? It was the exact same thing with the headphone jack.
Not only Samsung, I was talk thousand times if Apple do somethin' everything follows...

I guess that can only happen in america, where common sense is not a thing. Because how is apple liable for a consumer's choice to go with a garbage charger? If your house burns down, sue the manufacturer of the charger, not the company, whose device you were trying to charge with that POS power brick.
It's time Apple did the right thing and start including accessories with their phones. 1000 bucks is a lot of money, and the least they could do from the standpoint of good customer relations is provide all the goodies without charging extra money for it. You don't buy a car without wheels. You shouldn't have to buy an iPhone without quality headphones, fast charging, cleaning cloth, and maybe even a plastic clear case as well to protect it.
I actually don’t buy this rumor at all. I think Samsung will likely include the adapter in the future, but likely remove the earbuds, as they know those are a waste of time including those, because of Bluetooth being so predominant.

They include the adapter for the higher end Galaxy phones and remove it for the lower tiered ‘Budget’ phones, which I could see them going this route.

Samsung Mobile is garbage. Even their global social media accounts have had disastrous leaks or controversial messages.

Yes, Apple fans are legally forbidden to buy devices from other manufacturers. Won't someone shed a tear for us poor captive fools...
Everybody will, unfortunately. Apple basically gave the okay to give less to consumers, so obviously everybody will follow suit. Cutting cost is always preferred. Most Android mid rangers and below have excluded headsets in their box for years.
They might remove the charger from flagship phones. But I don't seem them removing it for budget phones -- as some people might actually need the charger.
I buy it. They might not remove everything with their next flagships, but they definitely will eventually. Samsung thinks their Apple but they’re not even close.
When the market leader (Apple) does it and the consumers accepted it (just look how many here defended Apple for it), any cost cutting measures will be followed by the rest of the industry.
“Samsung is for losers.” Who says things like that? In the end, we need the competition to Apple, Samsung has some really nice devices with some incredible technology and hardware. Keep in mind, Apple actually works direct with Samsung manufacturing certain parts of the iPhone and Apple Watch, so does that make Apple a loser?
Lawsuit? Lol that's the person's fault for being cheap... That would get kicked out pretty quickly
