Yeah, I won't be upgrading. It's a niche product, and won't need to be upgraded in the same cycle as say as iPhone. Probably closer to an iPad, which I'll replace every 4-5 years or so.

I agree. Unless there is something simply amazing, which right now I have my doubts, I will just keep current watch with os3 (which is running well btw). My iPad actually became obsolete to my day before I felt the need to update it. I had the first mini, skipped the first iPad, and after the iPhone 6 came out (with the bigger screen) I literally had no use for it so I just gave it to my son. Now, four or five years later the iPad pro comes out and I actually see a reason to update something that benefits my day so I bought a 9.7 128gb (or whatever it is) and sold my MacBook air mid 2013. Haven't looked back and get so much more use out of my iPad than I did my laptop it isn't even funny. Everything from work to school can be done in the ipp and then at night I just detach the keyboard and use it in bed for netflix. My wife uses her air 2 at night, can't remember the last time the bedroom tv was turned on actually...

I am a yearly iPhone updater and even that I am thinking of putting off this year since I have the 6S and I don't for see any changes that will be so grand as to put the 6S in the dust. Still haven't found a game that pushes the 6S, or the 6 for that matter. I think with TMO I get a free upgrade but I think by "free" they mean that they just take my old phone and give me a trade in value but my overall debt for a phone goes up...

Oh I do have an iMac btw otherwise I am not sure if the laptop could have been parted with. The ipp does 95% of everything I need out of a computer though!

My current watches do everything I want them to do well. I just want waterproofing by next summer. So if I get one I'll probably wait for some deals Best Buy might have in the spring.

I got my gold sport on sale in the spring and it was a good deal for around $222 when factoring BB rewards points. And I got the Galaxy Gear S2 for free with my Note 7. So I've got discount fever on my mind and now I don't think I ever again want to be paying close to $400 for a smart watch that can't let me order Scotty to beam me to the Enterprise and actually make it happen. ;)

Sounds cool! My mum currently has an iWatch and seems great but I have a Polar M400 as I am quite sporty. Very tempted to upgrade to either the M600 or iWatch 2

I massively overspent on Apple products in the last year or so.

I think my iMac is perfect and I can't imagine wanting to upgrade it.

I have the iPhone 6S+, which is great and with the new OS will be even better. I can't imagine what the iPhone 7 is going to offer that would tempt me, certainly not based on current speculation.

For me the Apple Watch is a watch first, then a fashion accessory, then a notification device. Watch OS3 will make it even better. I cannot imagine being able to justify buying an Apple Watch 2. It will be a total non-starter if it's not compatible with the existing bands as I've invested a lot in those. I don't care about nonsense like GPS and barometers. My iPhone already has them and I'm never without it.

I have an iPad Pro. It's a luxury I could do without. I certainly couldn't justify upgrading it.

The only product that I could be tempted to upgrade is my MacBook Pro. It feels like Apple has fallen way behind its competitors with laptops. A tablet/laptop hybrid like some of the top end Windows machines would be perfect.
I couldn't agree with you more. My phone is always with me therefore I could care less about GPS on the Apple Watch. I was able to purchase my Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel for $400.00 in like new condition and it came with Apple Care. My husband suggested that I wait until the new Apple Watch was released, but I couldn't justify spending $700.00 or more on the watch when I could spend only $400.00 which includes 1 year of Apple Care. I am very happy with my Apple Watch and I am looking forward to OS3.

The 'feature' I was referring to is the rumor that the OLED will be bonded directly to the crystal eliminating a layer of glass and making it thiner. This could allow a little more batt room or internal room but is only about ½ a mm. Until there is a breakthrough in battery tech (no time soon) or until efficiency increases (evolutionary and slow) to a point where significantly less power is needed we are not likely to see thiner :apple:Watches.

I'm aware of the display getting smaller, but case size remaining the same. I was just messing around.

Latest rumors suggest that AW2 would be the same overall thickness despite the thinner display technology, perhaps to make room for more things added to the innards. Big ass watches are the trend these days so there's not a great motivation to make it thinner or smaller. The 42mm AW is actually smaller than my previous watch.

That's very true haha. I wear a Skagen, so I like my slender design. A smart watch is a smart watch though.

Skagen uses small quartz movements -- as in, small enough for ladies' watches -- and puts them in tapered, normal-diameter cases.

It's more honest than some brands who also use small movements held by huge spacers in thick cases.

I'm a big fan of the aesthetic. You wouldn't catch me dead wearing one of these:

Depends what else it adds. Battery life and GPS is a good selling point but how much battery life? Two days? I'm in
