I have an NU6900, latest firmware installed (1251) and seeing no sign of AirPlay and the Apple TV app is not available to download from the App Store. Any ideas? I’ve been looking forward to this update when they announced earlier this year.

Hi,
I am facing following issue. iOS updated to 12.3, model of TV Samsung UE55NU8502 (2018) Firwmare ver. 1251 installed.
When I would like to share something from iPhone via AirPlay, code on the TV is displayed, after entering it on the iPhone, "Unable to connect to the TV" message appears on the iPhone. From my point of view my TV should be supported for AirPlay, because after update firmware, AirPlay options was added and also Apple TV app. TV is 2018, and also firmware is latest.

Any suggestion, how to fix this?
Is somewhere list of particular supported models of Samsung TVs?

Thank you.

See my post earlier of the Twitter screenshot. It is possible a revised version tomorrow afternoon since it was delayed for some other models.

I have Samsung UE43NU7192 (2018) with firmware version 1252. There is no sign of apple tv app or airplay 2

I have one of those TV models listed. Updated last night to latest firmware. No Apple TV app and it didn't show up when I searched for it. Glad I didn't get my hopes up much for this lol

When I try to watch something through Airplay, the TV tells me to put in a code into my iPhone (and iPad, which I also tried), and then my iPhone tells me it cannot connect to the TV. Tried multiple times and it does not work. Disappointing to say the least.

My TV has Airplay settings in the Settings (gear) portion of my TV and I have downloaded and logged into my Apple account on the app for the TV.

why on earth it's not available for 2017 QLED range? it is available for 2018 and 2019 but not 2017??
QLED is flagship, premium range, there is no reason for them not to support 2017 models..

I have a UE49MU6100 here, version 1270, bought in 2018. No update or app has appeared yet... If anyone knows how to get the update, please share it with us.

The MU in your model number suggests its a 2017 model. Unfortunately it seems AirPlay and Apple TV app are only supported on 2018 and 2019 models. For reference, the 2018 models have NU in the model and 2019 have RU.

UN40U7100.

Just checked and it's there. Firmware 1521 (I believe),

Canada Region.

Launched fine. Took about 30-45 seconds to load. UI was mostly smooth (some FPS hiccups). But works as advertised. Didn't try any content since I don't own any on Apple TV platform.

But it's nice to have and an option should I choose to watch any of the Apple Programming without having to buy an i-Device

Not sure if my TV is supported. UN50NU6900

I have the same model. Contacted support and they said it is definitely supported but that the update is not yet available for this model. I asked for an ETA and they said none is available at the moment.
