so hopefully beats x come out sooner than the 2-3 months now since airpods came out

Sure but it might make sense to sell these for all they are worth at a higher price point for now. After that launch Beatsx with BT5. Just a guess.

They do pop out, and they're very uncomfortable.

This is why I want to hear from "real people." I don't always trust the folks who have reviewed an item before it's even avaiable.
Everyone's ears are different so i'm sure your mileage will vary. You'll probably have to try them yourself and see. Good thing Apple has their two week return policy.

are these going to be available to buy off the shelf at an apple store or apple.com only for a bit?

sorry didn't read this whole thread,

Finally! I just ordered mine with a 21st delivery date. Couldn't have come at a better time though as I just bought the Beats solo 3s and the w1 chip is really amazing. I can walk all over the house without loosing a connection or cutting in and out. battery life is great too. Im looking forward to these though for working out and just when I don't want to wear cans

If the problem was in the software, and not hardware, they would be delivered right now.

The problem was in manufacturing, that's why they will only arrive day 21.

Says the guy with an Android logo eating an Apple with blood...

If Google would release this (they can't), you'd be all over it, how "Google is out-innovating Apple".
I'm not a fanatic over either, I just think the avatar is funny.

If Google came up with them and sold them for this price I'd say the same thing. If they sold them for £20 I'd consider buying them.

These could be great, but the way Apple has been going of late, I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole for at least a few months. Need to hear testimonials from real world users...

Pretty much all of the different reviewers who had just the very early version had very positive things to say about them if that makes any difference.

Just ordered two. Though they look kind of ridiculous, but I need new wireless earphones might as well give these a try.

Anyways says December 22 in the page but once checkout is completed it reads December 21.

$159 = £159?? What madness is this?? That being said.... ordered.
Poor exchange rate and VAT included in the UK (sales tax not included in the US price) makes this about right:

$159 = £124.95
£124.95 * 1.2 (VAT) = £149.94

So a bit more expensive but not a lot

I wasn't bothered about these when they were announced, but decided to get some and see how they work out

After years of owning iPhones and never once using the supplied ear-phones, I tried the ones that came with my iPhone 7... didn't get on with them at all. Didn't seem to fit snugly or drown out background noise... very bass-light for my tastes and just generally not something I could get along with. Sadly, I suspect these Airpods will have the same fit and overall (for my own liking) under-performing sound - so I'll be giving these a miss. Shame really, as the tech greatly appeals to me.
It would be nice if Apple had earphones that can take Comply 3rd party ear buds - my preferred type.

Ordered mine, scheduled delivery for Dec 21st! I was 45 minutes late jumping on this, Apple must be planning to have a decent amount in stock.

Little shock people are ordering so fast and not waiting for the reviews and battery life. Read on the website up to 24 hours on a charge or 5 hours of using them. Seems little low.
