So now we get 1 Gurman “newsletter” dissected into 3 or 4 MR “stories” - that’s getting lame… he continues to throw things at the wall and then claims “see I was right” when something sticks… Apple tightening up their secrecy is working

Unless it manages to improve battery life by a lot, if there is no new tech features than I think Apple should not release a new version "just because".
Who cares if they haven't got improvements for a few years, they are still great today compared to competition.

Right? I’m on my 3rd set now. Long as Apple keeps replacing them for free I’ll keep hanging onto them until the crackle crackle comes back.
Weird. I have a pair since shortly after release, not one crackle. I’ve seen this being an issue though so I’m curious how I got lucky.

Bummer. I thought the temperature sensor would have been more useful in AirPods than the Apple Watch.

If I had to choose I'd rather it on the watch since I wear that 24 7 and only wear airpods here and there when I need them.

Another decision made MONTHS ago, just making it’s way out of the supply chain, but they’ll tell you “Apple JUST decided…”

Apple is what we call in Europe "Lame duck". They are old and fat. Watch out, Apple is the next Nokia!
So, what new tech does Europe have to offer? Besides regulating tech…
While past success is no guarantee for the future… you got to offer a little substance here to be taken seriously

They will try anything they can to sell those poor sounding overpriced buds.

Had my sixth one fail just last week, they really are a poor quality product. Meanwhile my cheaper Bose QC20i's from 2014 still work perfectly, dangly bits and all.

Yeah, European “innovation” is coming up with new ways to get money out of foreign companies based there. :) Would that be lazy duck?

As expected.

Let me guess, we won’t get all those cool health features in the Series 8 either? It’s always next year, then the following year and so on…
exactly, ima start me a website too with my own exaggerated rumors

Can’t wait to buy a pair and then throw them in the ocean 2 years later when their batteries die. /sarcasm

I just want airpods that can be used in these times as &@%^#* headphones. I am in teams meetings and phonecalls all day long, and if I ain’t in a sound proof room, people on the other side hear every single bit of noise as loud as my voice. People talking in the background? Forget it, people are starting to stumble words on the meeting because to them, some unrelated conversation is happening right through what they are saying.

If they only improve a bit, I will abandon this completely and will search for other options.

I just want a better mic and longer battery life per charge. Everything else is not all that useful imo.

I think some people expect too much from a set of earbuds whose microphone is level with their earlobe. There's a reason why people who work on the phone all day in busy call centres use a real headset, not earbuds.

If you are the kind of person who wants to constantly monitor your body like that, you probably have a wearable to do it. Its unnecessary tech in a set of headphones.

This is terrible, I was hoping to pay $450 for the next Pros. Then the price for AirPods Max wouldn't be as crazy /s

I would like air pods to include those two features, could take off Apple watch for training in a gym. I don't understand why people wouldn't want extra features if they never throttled the performance of the pods. I would upgrade my iPod Pro's and buy new if they came with it. I don't have a Apple watch, I have a Garmin Fenix 7 which I am delighted with.
