Everyone’s worried about the design and not what the potential this camera has to offer in terms of technology. The results are what I care about, more than anything, I want to see what this camera Can show us what advancements Apple made.

Oh goodness, those do not look good. However, I don't believe the final product will be as ugly. But all those lenses clumped upon the corner like that just isn't as nice as other multi lens arrangements I've seen. It doesn't have to look that awkward.

The only real reason I would want three lenses is if it could take some kind of 3D picture or something cool like that.

They’ve got him tied up in a closet and his alien pod has taken over!

No thanks those 3D images on android phones are garbage. One of my friends keeps posting photos of their newborn and it makes it look like they weirdest kid ever.
Wide angle would be very handy on the other hand.

I still don't get this camera lens battle. Having wide & standart lens (50mm equivalent is not telephoto) is enough for most people. But there is of course still room to improve the lens / sensor / software. For me adding new features should be always evaluted in terms of how those new features affect the product in a good way but also in a bad way. Like with those butterfly keyboards. They seem to not consider anything except the thiness.

If there was no camera bump there would be no problem with the number of cameras or placement of them. The problem is the bump.

Make the phone thicker and increase battery size!

Just wish they made the phone a bit thicker to hide the camera more inside.

I wish they don't. iPhones are pretty thick as they are. Besides, most people use cases which eliminate the camera budge and add more thickness to the already thick iPhone. Peoples cry on thinner iPhones appears that it has been heard.
But I agree with you on that ugly camera design, however, I will reserve my judgment for when I see the official release.

Ditto.
I'll put it on a case anyway, so I don't care about the back of the phone, and I always put it on the table with the display facing up, so I only seldom see the back of it.
I want them to improve the quality of pictures, and if it requires more holes, or a bigger hole in my case what's the matter? People take most of the pictures with their phones nowadays, so give them the best possibile camera.

Jony Ive needs to go, he can easily be replaced if this is the best he can churn out these days. Forstall needs to return while we’re at it to oversee the software. Unless either or both of those happen then expect more of these WTF’eries and missteps from Apple.

I think the cameras will be finally flushed and not protrude. That’s why they have the courage to use those triplet cameras layout. If they still protrude, then God have mercy on us.

It Just goes to show you that Apple will never be able to appease to everyone, one member wants the iPhone thicker and the other one says the iPhone is thick as it is. In the end, I don’t think the general consumer outside a tech site really cares about the ‘thickness’ of the iPhone, when they’re probably more involved with the technology on the phone itself and what it has to offer.

Same here. How that camera LOOKS is going to have absolutely 0 influence on whether I buy the new iPhone or not.

Maybe if things continue at this rate we'll one day get a flat back on a phone again, just need 48 cameras or so... Or of course they could just thicken the phones a bit and throw some more battery into the space as many people would like!

This is incredibly scary, but with all these leak, I feel it’s growing on me a tiny bit. Otherwise, still a tumor on a phone.

This would make my decision easy not to buy a new iPhone this year.
I find it a bit hard to believe that the actual production parts happen to exactly fit a concept rendering someone did months ago. Or does my memory fail me?

As long as it takes better pictures, I don't care. Who stares at the back of their phone anyway?
