Good point as well
I don't see the point of removable batteries to be honest. This isn't 2004 where a battery would only last a year with heavy use. And there are several solutions if you are in the extremely rare case where you will be without power for a long time.
I can see the point of an SD slot (kind of) but I've never run out of space on my 32gb phone since iTunes Match and Photostream were released.
Removeable batteries aren't just about being able to replace one if it dies or no longer holds a charge (although that is helpful and easy and cheap) but it's also about having the ability to carry one or more spare batteries and being able to change a dead battery with a full one in scenarios where you don't have a charger available (travel, recreation, etc).
An SD card slot is invaluable if you want to keep movies, music collections, etc., loaded locally on your device. A movie can easily take 4-8GB of space. Having a 64GB card can hold 400 of my favorite songs plus 6 full movies for travel, and not eat up any space on the internal memory.
