Let's remove the headphone jack that people use, and replace it with extra speakers that they won't. That'd be innovative!
The dual camera will probably only be on the 5.5" iPhone, and I imagine this is a picture of the 4.7" iPhone. I still agree that I don't think they could fit a speaker and a camera in that tight of a spot. How would they fit a speaker in that space when the camera module is there? (And it'll be a bigger module because of the dual-camera.)
Never used the headphone jack in any of my iPhones but use the speakers all the time - each to their own though!!!Let's remove the headphone jack that people use, and replace it with extra speakers that they won't. That'd be innovative!
Samsung will obviously remove the jack from S8, be rewarded by lower sales, then reintroduce it in S9 as INNOVATION. Now available in purplè gold.
Unless the Lightning to 3.5mm adaptor that doesn't come in the box sold for $49.99 with have a lightning and 3.5mm port at the bottom. It's highly possible!I still don't see how removing the headphone jack is a good idea. Apart from requiring different headphones, unless bluetooth headphones are provided, you also can't charge and listen to music at the same time.
The headphone jack is not an outdated form of storage, so your comparison does not fly.dont forget that when apple removed the floppy disk, others did the same, same with cd rom..
so you can go to android but only for 1-2 years
There are much better ways to go about "the future" than to drop a standard port that is near-universally used.

Why is it in purple?
I don't think this photo is legit

You want Apple to remove the logo from the back? Really?
So now you have to carry an adaptor everywhere that will extend the length of your phone in your pocket? Not very innovative and a clumsy solution for something that isn't a problem.
Blurring out the case makes it seem like these were quick shots taken by a leaker, but the photos are.... artfully arranged. Like, they took their time setting up each shot for maximum aesthetic appeal. Why would they work so hard to intentionally include the case if they were just going to pixelate it?
Suspicious. Seems fake to me.

It's (allegedly) a prototype -- the actual phone wouldn't be purple.
