I was hoping for something a little more interesting or radical than a re-used iPod touch design..

Maybe one can hope that they change the front, and reduce the bezel size on the sides. That would do it for me personally.

i think it looks nice. now please get rid of the absolutely huge bezels and circular home button on the front glass and the iphone will design will be just what i always wanted it to be.

the one thing bothering me is the lack of headphone jack. if the iphone 7 doesn't have it then it simply isn't an option for me. my headphones cost £130 and i'm not going out and buying a new bluetooth pair just so i can listen on iphone. forget it.

I'm sorry, but who needs their phone to be so thin that it doesn't have room for a freakin' headphone jack?

Indeed, Apple changes the two things no one has been asking for.

Make it a bit thinner
Remove the headphone jack

I've not seen any lines of protesters demanding either of these.
Sadly I think Apple is still of the opinion that "IT" know's what you should do and be using, Mother knows best.

Same here. I am not bothered about the back, and it looks fine to me. Thick bezels/Chins are unattractive though. There is just so much it can change on the front side.

Always at this time of the year there is a new iPhone schematics leak and it always was correct. Also it's just normal that Windows 7 is still used in a production environment.
So face it, it's to 99% sure that's the iPhone 7 design. As someone else said, you can't improve the current design much more. It lays perfectly in your hand. Next on the list should be the reduction of the bezels.

Why do people keep assuming that the reason headphone jack is being removed is to make iPhone thin? How about being a freaking to old type of connector and time for it to go maybe?
By the way, latest iPod touch is thinner then iPhone and still have the 3.5 mm jack.

Ergonomics? Who gives a monkeys about ergonomics? Its all about design which I agree is subjective. The iphone 6 is the reason why I rock a S6 Edge plus as my main phone. Tell me about the ergonomics of the S6 Edge plus.

All phones are fine to use ergonomically. Why does everyone want to grip their phone like a monkey holding a banana.

I hear people moaning about the sharp edges of the edge plus. What sharp edges? Yes its flatter but its not sharp and definitely not uncomfortable. The Iphone 4 and 5 were never uncomfortable.

Yuck, it's just like those mockups earlier :( Those bands only look slightly better moved out of the way like that, and in fact in the flesh I think it may looks a bit desperate, like they're desperately trying (and failing) to hide them.

In your opinion though.
In my opinion, the 4/5 design is far less ergonomic then 6 with these flat sides/sharp edges.

I agree the 6 design feels nice (well, except for the size), but for me it's not as pretty.

[doublepost=1457944092][/doublepost]Does anyone else find it ironic we are looking at a future phone on a Windows XP desktop ?

It's actually Windows 7, but yes, we've seen these types of shots from Windows computers many times in the past.
