No luck here. I tried a couple around Atlanta and they all checked with the website.

Gotta find yourself in a specific set of circumstances for it to go through.

Unless you have a pending order with Amazon, there's very little chance of success. Supervisors will check Amazon for pricing and availability.

Show them the Order Details through Amazon app on your phone and be polite but persistent. I was able to get a second one last night.

I showed them the order details on my phone. Both the order confirmation page and the invoice page. It wasn't enough and they all had to cross-verify with Amazon's product page.

One employee actually searched for the Macbook model on Google for a list of prices and corresponding retailers.

Hopefully Amazon will ship it, but I'm starting to eye the touch bar model. Regardless, I find myself jealous of your luck. ;)
 
Is it not possible to make them accept it being that it is what was advertised?

Most of these retailers have policies in place for this sort of thing. Occasional mistakes are inevitable, and the potential losses are too high.
 
Are there any active links left? Or is the sale pretty much dead?
the link has been back up, it was off for a bit after the pricing glitch. They should be getting the non-touch in stock soon hopefully early this week.

They also said they would make sure to cancel everyone else's orders for the MacBook Pro's promptly. (Kidding...)!

All joking aside, It will be interesting to see the successful orders.

Relentless power, had they cancelled yours after you called and they said it would be cancelled or did it survive? Or had you not ordered in the first place? Just curious.
 
Yeah just got the email too. Sweet! I thought they were going to cancel it. I only ordered one but wish I noticed the deal earlier and got the high end 15" for $2000.

Amazon never actually canceled my order. They said they would, but something must of changed. I only ordered one unit.
