That's my issue too. The $60 is steep. It looks better than any UAG I ha e seen before
It seemed extremely flimsy near any port or button access. Maybe $30 at the most. $60 is pushing
Hmmm, feels really great. Solid build, great design, nice protection, better than my Plasma. Some people scoff at the price but when a simple silicone from Apple is pushing $40 and the leather $50, Otterbox is in the same range as this and quite a bit uglier, and LP hovers around $100, I don't see this case ridiculously priced. Would I prefer if it was $40? Lol yes. Is it priced a bit more premium? Yup but not outlandishly so in my opinion. It's not a value branded case, it has become a higher end brand because they've consistently produced a crowd pleasing product so all in all, even though I'd rather pay less, I think they priced it adequately.

Funny I find myself using my Slim armor quite a bit too
The one thing I'm missing from the Slim Armor is actually the kickstand. One of those things I never had on a case before but now I'm so used to it.
I do like that this case feels slimmer width wise and it only sticks out in the corners. Versus the Slim Armor which is wider all around. So it feels a little better when holding it.
I had not noticed any flimsiness around the ports or buttons. I read your post and decided to push on the TPU in those sections and then I felt what you're probably referring to. It does feel a bit softer in those sections than on other parts of the case which are stiffer but by no means would I consider it extremely flimsy. I was wondering why it was easier to put the case on and take back off compared to my other UAG and now I know why. I actually consider it a plus because the side rails on the UAG Plasma were so stiff it was hard to remove from the phone. While it is a bit more flexible there isn't any "major give" around the ports.
Those areas are indeed flexible on my plasma version as well. The TPU doesn't feel like it'll stretch or sag though. Might be the same on the monarch version too.
Just got the ash black UAG Plasma for iPhone 7 plus. Love it so far!
