Wow, so many threads today with people saying they are going to return theirs or sell them. I hate to see so many were so excited and just 3 days in people are bored with them.

Me personally, I'm still absolutely loving mine, I ordered the White Sports 42mm. Battery life has been amazing so far (even now I'm at 78% at 5:50pm and it's been off the charger since 8am)

The stuff it does now is good, I love the look of the watch and over the next few months Apple WILL come out with some software updates that will fix stuff we don't like. The one thing I hope is in the first update is the ability to extend how long the screen comes on for.

I am loving your watch and not anywhere near it! I am living vicariously through you guys till June.

I guess I'm not sure what people are don't like, because it's not like Apple promised or showed features we weren't getting, we all knew what the watch can and cannot do when we ordered them.

There were a few things we couldn't know at the time. How the interface would work, etc.

But that all works nicely, so I'm happy.

Just started using mine today, I love it!
Although the battery went from 70% to 8% in 3.5hrs... Is that normal for the first day? Or is it defective? I have the 38mm.

With initial setup mine was like that.

If it's like that after a full recharge, then worry.

I'm on the fence. It's been very average in my opinion.

Given that it's a watch, it's intended not to be noticed all the time. Is there something you were expecting but haven't experienced using it yet?

I love it! I can't wait to see the new apps that will come out for it. I'm just a bit frustrated because I am eager to get other bands for it and Apple can't seem to get their inventory together so that I can just pop into the Apple Store, try them on, pick a couple and purchase and leave. This online ordering only thing is a bummer. I hope they come out with new bands for autumn.

I've not even scratched the surface of all the things I can do with the Apple Watch yet and neither have developers. For a first generation product it's pretty cool and much more robust than I expected. It works very well with my iPhone 6 plus.

Thought it would be more useful. I figured I'd check my phone less. I realized my phone most likely doesn't need a companion that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

The OS is generally sluggish and overly slow. Non-native apps are worse. Notifications work sometimes. Can't see many types of emails. It literally says can't display it. Battery is bad but I expected that so not disappointed there.

At this point I feel like it's basically a Pebble with better build quality and a $500 premium. I do like the way the SS looks though (Sport not so much). Definitely too chunky though. Only Apple product that needs to be thinned out.

This is a potential problem for Apple.

With iPhone sales keeping Apple fat and happy as it's greatest source of profit, any reduction in use and sales of iPhones will be detrimental.

Should that occur it's going to be very interesting to see how Apple responds.

It needs to be paired with the IPhone to do most of its functions, though. It's an adjunct, not a complete replacement.

I'm much more impressed with it than I expected, going to give it a solid week of use before I decide if it's worth the money.

I've seen you complain about your battery in numerous threads. I agree with the people who told you there seems to be something wrong with your battery. I was texting and dictating to Siri and playing with Apps and watch faces and activating mine all day yesterday and did not run my battery down. My notifications seem to be working fine. I just have to remember some won't come in to the watch if I'm on my phone or iPad reading this forum.

The battery is fine based on feedback I've received from others who use the workout function for the amount of time I use mine. That function drains the battery much more quickly. I also said I am not holding the battery against the watch. I knew the battery was not going to be a strong point of the device.

I just think it's average and the cost value ratio is very low. I'm not sure how people love it so much, but I'm guessing the early adopters would love anything Apple. I don't have high expectations for the Watch and that disappoints me as a shareholder because I love the $$ Apple makes me.

I want to talk to you guys since you love yours, haha! Questions:

When I get mine, use it or charge it first?

Do I let it die before charging it all the way back up for the very first time?

I wanted this thing for Maps. How are maps while driving? I've heard Siri doesn't audibly tell you what's happening anymore, which I didn't realize. Instead you get the tapping, which is something I'm really excited about. But would love to hear any impressions about Maps while driving.

Can you Airplay Spotify from the watch? I know you can go to the next song, etc, but Airplay?

Can you ask Siri to tap someone?

While pairing my Apple Watch with my iPhone 6 Plus it occurred to me that many watch owners may enjoy the watch so much they'll prefer to leave the phone in their pocket or purse as much as possible.

Since all one needs is an iPhone 5 or later, the incentive to upgrade is reduced. Obviously I did a poor job of conveying that in my earlier post.

Stayed up too late playing with my easily addictive Apple Watch... :)

A number of us posting on the "negative" threads really aren't negative, we are frustrated or confused about something. Trying to make the watch really fit our lifestyle.

That said, the watch makes me smile. I'm getting better and better with it as time goes by. And I just bought apple care + too, so you *know* I'm happy!

----charge it first if under ~50%...won't take long

Do I let it die before charging it all the way back up for the very first time?

----not necessary

----not great for driving. Too tiny to see and not be a danger on the road. Notifications (taps) come *at* an intersection which is too late when driving. Use iPhone and voice. Directions when walking are great!

----don't know someone else needs to answer

Can you ask Siri to tap someone?
----nope, don't think so. But if it could it would take half the fun out of it ;)

I can identify areas of improvement for my watch but despite not thinking that it is a perfect gadget, I basically love it.

Love it...I think your trolling here. You just joined MR:confused:

OP might be a troll, but don't assume someone who just joined is an apple troll/newbie. I lurked on these forums for *years* before actually joining in order to post.
