I'm not a coffee drinker either. I generally don't enjoy temperature hot beverages except during the cold winter months and then it's generally just hot chocolate or maybe a hot tomato juice drink. I think coffee is an acquired taste and I just never had any interest in acquiring it.

Acquire the taste by eating some coffee ice cream. :):) I started drinking it in the Navy for some strange reason, that eludes me. ;)

Every now and then I'll have a cold or iced coffee like Starbucks or something, but it's just not a big deal to me. My bad caffeine habit is definitely soda.

Everyone is different. I love coffee and have been drinking it regularly since I was 12. I started drinking it straight when I was in jr high. Now coffee with cream and sugar tastes nasty, to me. I tend to drink Kona or Kona blends and I find Starbucks to be revolting.

I also like beer, especially pale ales and other bitter brews, but dislike most liquors save for absinthe. I generally dislike chocolate. I prefer saltwater fish over freshwater fish. Honey gives me headaches.

I won't eat steak unless it is thinly cut and has no fat. HoweverI love sushi; octopus, eel, sea urchin, and conch are delicious. I get a yearly craving for conch fritters.

The smell, taste, and texture of poultry disgusts me but I keep chickens as pets and love eggs for breakfast.

I am a 46-year old fussy eater. ;)

holy ****! hahah

I live in the Seattle area and don't drink coffee ... people think I'm crazy. It's not that I hate the taste, I just don't like caffeine.

Don't really drink hot beverages at all really, maybe an occasional hot chocolate.

I don't like coffee either, it's weird because it smells great to me, however I can't stomach the taste.

Tea is more my cup of tea ;)

Wierd? No.

I love coffee but it does not like me, or I suppose my stomach does not like it. During a very stressful period at work last fall, had 6 in one day (nespresso in the office and a double espresso during lunch break). Usually have 2 at most three. That night went to the hospital with palpitations and pain in my chest. Turned out to be acid reflux.

So it is a very rare treat for me, after taking a proton pump inhibitor.

The health aspect of it is irrelevant to me. I drink diet soda and eat way too much fast food anyway. How i'm still pretty skinny is beyond me. I'm just purely talking about taste. I can't tolerate the taste, i can't even swallow coffee when i do try it, it makes me gag.

Metabolism. Watch out, it might change ;)

.......
I do kind of wish I smoked and drank coffee, because I feel like I'm missing out on wandering-around-the-office time that those people get. ;)

in all honesty, I think that cigarette smoke and coffe have a slight similarity in smell. It's not the most obvious, but next time you smell cigarettes or coffee, take a good whiff and I think you'll smell it. But I myself am a coffee hater... and cigarette hater, just throwing it out there

Yeah I notice the similarity in the smell too... They both smell strong & acidic.

I think it depends, most people I've known that hated the taste of coffee was b/c they were used to/only had the crappy stale store bought stuff, crappy starbucks and other places that can't make a decent cup if their life depended on it, cheap office machines and coffee etc. I have a nice, and $$$ espresso and coffee setup and everyone that's had some is in love with it, even the coffee haters. All comes down to nice equipment and fresh roasted beans (not store bought), and top notch grinders.... get's to be an expensive hobby.

I used to drink instant years ago, think I would gag myself if someone put that near me now hahaha

Here's an example of roasters of which I've ordered from some:

only cheap beans not roasted right or generally way overroasted and charred (starbucks lol) give off that scent.

I also like beer, especially pale ales and other bitter brews,
you should see my microbrew collection, lost count, somewhere north of 200 bottles lol. Love Stone, Dogfish Head, Great Divide, Clownshoes etc. Two newer ones I've been addicted too, Cigar City and Southern Tier (their 2Xipa is out of this world good)
