if its true that 7 of the 10 prison camp die , then I predict Rick,Carl and Michonne will be the sole survivors .

Unlikely.

Why only that split and not 26 from Woodbury and from the prison?

Rick's group only consists of 10 (Rick, Carl, Judith, Carol, Beth, Maggie, Glenn, Hershel, Daryl, Michonne) So killing 7 of them would be pretty much the same as #1. (11 if you count Andrea, I wouldn't count Tyrese's group in the prison side of the ledger.)

Why not, I was just stating my own opinion but there are other Characters in the show other than who are just in Ricks group like Martinez,Milton and Tyreese and his group who are part of the Woodbury army that's already 7 people 5 of them could die and 2 of Ricks group could get killed theres 27 but we will just have to wait and see.

I doubt the Gov is going to get killed and for all we know Milton could rescue Andrea and plot there own escape or join Ricks group but again its just my opinion.

Meh. No way Carl will ever be normal. Rick should just put him down now and concentrate on his daughter.

Just so disappointed.:(

very anti-climatic

The climax happened earlier in the episode with the governor snapping and taking out his army.

No way Carl will ever be normal.

Yeah, I think he'll be far less upset about killing Woodbury kid instead of Ben.

If they end up staying at the prison much longer this will be a real departure from the comic book. Though you could potentially see it as the lull between the time when the Governor was left-for-dead-ish by Michonne and his later all out attack on the prison. Difference being Woodbury is no more.

I was so looking forward to see how they deal with the Hunters they met on the road to DC.

What the hell was that. I really thought it was going somewhere. Do something big; kill the guv, do some big shake up thing, end on "it's all going to change", THE END (for this season). The built up in the last couple of episodes was great too, really started to punctuate an otherwise dull season.

I think this is the quitting point for me. I don't think it has been truly great since the first season and we'll be onto the 4th next.

It looks like I'm in the minority, but I liked the season finale. Sure there are still some loose ends, but for the most part the tension with Woodbury is over and Rick has returned to his roots of being a "good guy". The tension they are setting up with Carl, who is taking after Shane instead of Rick, is really good stuff.

I agree, this is the legacy of this season and episode. The tension between Carl and Rick and within Carl himself is where the action is.

Carl is torn between the past and the present. Saving the picture of his family he risked his life to retrieve while at the same time rejecting his father's position of law and order. Rejecting the sheriff's badge as if it was the source of the plague.

Terrible finale. Seemed like the whole season was going to lead to the end of The Governor story arc. Will watch season four, but not going to hype this show up anymore like I used to.

I agree re the arch. I for see another arch coming in the first couple of episodes of season four. I foresee the Governer being taken out by the remaining group members he still has. Or he attempts another run on the prison when he finds out what has happened. This is where we will see tyreese killed off also. Basically playing out the comics early in the season.

Fingers crossed

Or... SPOILERS FROM THE COMIC BELOW:

they roll the Governor character in with the Negan/Saviors arch they have going in the comics. Carl's turn to the ruthless would fit that, as well. I could see something like this happening as I can't forsee this show running for 10+ years... perhaps, the show runners are gearing up for a story arc to end all story arcs to unfold over the next few seasons.

That might work, though it would take some time for him to build up a group and racket like the Saviors. Of course, this being TV, they don't have to pick up the story immediately after the events of the last season if they don't leave you with a cliffhanger. They may start Season 4 with "6 months later..."

I can't find it right now, but Robert K, has stated the writers want to have Negan arrive in the next few seasons.

I personally hope they don't, Negan is one of the few bad characters in the books that I actually don't like. His character does nothing for me. But this is my opinion.

I can see the following:

Governer Arch finishing in the first half of season 4
Second half of season 4 we do the march towards Washington/or other location they hear about....
During which we have a few struggles this takes us through the beginning half of season 5
Season 5 pt 2 if you will, and beginning of season 6 through season 7 we meet up with the Saviors and we meet Negan final seasons of the show. :)

Completely agree with this. The finale could have been so much better. I still do not understand why none of the 'commanders' did not put a bullet in the governor's head after he murdered all those people.

Clearly it was so that there could be a season 4 and this story arch could be dragged out even further. In season 3 you would never have really guessed there was an entire zombie outbreak and that humanity was basically stuffed, not like they showed in season one.

I hate to say this, but it gets this way in the books also. You will see the walkers in the background and that is pretty much it, there are times when you won't see them at all. The story revolves around the people not such much the walkers.

I have to say that I started watching the show because I saw a playthrough of the game from TellTale and it was superb so I thought the series would be just as good. Sadly though I do not think it is. I understand the show is about the people who are surviving but it is like they never even try now to try to find out what caused the outbreak or anything like that.

What initially gripped me was the sense of fear and desperation in season 1. Since they left the city things have gone stale. I am guessing something will happen in season 4 to drive them back to the city? Hopefully then it will get more interesting.

That's exactly what I don't like either. It was a tense, fast moving drama that has become a soap with zombies.
And I agree - the game is better. It's like the TV Season 1 stretched out for a full game, it's amazing.

It's too easy to dispatch walkers. You don't need to hurry. The Governor escaped 30 of them in a confined space without any ammunition for his weapon..... Yawn.
