Spoilers

I finally got around to watching the finale. Season finals usually conclude certain major story lines. This did not. They needed a 2 hour finale to wrap up the governor. Instead it was unfinished. I was sad to see Andrea go. The major characters they killed off this season feels like a giant hole is left. I'll miss them. Mixed feelings, but my interest in the show remains.

As far as Carl killing the kid... They told him to drop the gun but he tried to hand it over and my impression was that he (the kid, not Carl) was going to try something. I thought Carl explained his feelings pretty well to his Father on why he did it.

I agree completely.

I think they governor arch is going to conclude pretty early in the season. At least I hope it does. I can see one more rush on the prison, blood bath and then we move on.... :):D

In the comic it was the Woodbury people that killed the Gov, I wonder if that will follow through in the TV Series.

That could happen if the Gov goes back to the prison, since they took in many Woodbury people.

Correct, I have a feeling the governor is going to do something when he does the rush on the prison that is going to incite the guys who are with him and they are going to take him down.

I also have a feeling we are going to loose two more characters early on in the season, along with the governor.

Referencing the show, does anyone know the truth back in Woodbury or is the Gov free to spin his tales? BTW, I don't have any issue with how they've handled the Gov in the show, with a slow decent into evilness as compared to the comic where he appeared all ready evil. ;)

The implication I got was that Tyrese's group and the folks they took in at the prison at the end of the episode was all that was left of Woodbury, so who is he going to tell his tales to?

This was my take away as well. I think that the Governor is with a few remaining followers who were in the raiding party when he went crazy and started killing everybody. I don't remember character names, but I'm thinking about the guy who was heading up the troops for him (the one who shared a smoke with Darryl at the meeting between Rick and the Gov) and the guy and his son who were formerly a part of Tyrese's group. I'm betting the first part of next season will reveal what this small groups next move is and how that ultimately leads to the conclusion of the Governor story arc. I believe that the guy who shared the smoke with Darryl has really been shaken up by watching the Governor turn on their people and I wouldn't doubt that he plays a role in turning on the Governor in the end.

Oh, I thought there were more of them then could fit on a bus... Maybe the Gov did a good job of thinning out the group. ;)

They made a pretty big deal of him taking all of the able bodied adults as his "army", and we all know what happened to most of them.

In Woodbury, The Governor tells Milton to enlist residents aged thirteen and up to fight. Milton calculates that will give them 35 soldiers.

So the numbers are more or less consistent with the death toll in the final episode and the 3 soldiers that survived.

He never took in more than he could trust. Remember he murdered the National Guard unit and killed the guy they took in.

I think he took in just enough to reinforce his Army and enough to make it seem like he had a decent town going.

You can only feed so much, but he was ruthless. Though it did seem like there were a lot during the "biter battles", or that outdoor festival they had, but I am sure that included the dozen or so he kill in the final episode.

Yup I agree, I would also add in, he could control.

I wasn't a huge fan of Milton, but I wish we got more inside information from him before he died. He mentioned he knew the governor when he was Phillip and something along the lines of he's come a long way or something. I wonder if they were considering playing into the background of them and Milton was a psychologist or something along those lines and the Gov was a sociopath he was treating.

I could see that especially with his "testing" on the old guy and the re-animation scene.

Very interesting thought and theory on the governor and Milton!

I'm curious to find out if Morgan comes to his senses and goes to the prison.

I mean we're running low on kill off type characters. The only main characters to kill off right now are carol and Hershel. I mean they can't kill the whole main cast, and I'd hate to see Rick, Carl, Darryl, Maggie, glen or little ass kicker go.

i really want to know how this ends in the comics does anyone have a link they can pm so i can find out?

How what ends? The comic is still being published, and it at over 100 issues.

I have gotten though compendium one, which is almost half of the comic currently, and it pretty much ended with almost everyone dead. The governor was killed by his own people.

It's almost on track with the TV series, but there have been many differences so far.

Yes, so many differences. Arguably the most popular TV character, Daryl, isn't even in the comic.

Oh, and by the way, TheAppleFairy, issue 100 is a doozy. I don't know how they're gonna pull off that one on the TV show... (spoiler-ish alert): If they do, a LOT of Korean TWD fans are gonna be pissed.

I am not that gets angry about spoilers, you could tell me everything that is going to happen and I'd enjoy the show (or comic) just as much.

Nice spoiler alert there, lets see how they play that out on TV.

Though he plays a major role on the show, he's rarely the center of attention, but he's a great character.

I've winced every time this season that a zombie gets "taken out" with a baseball bat because of issue 100.

B

Ha.......... I have to say out of everything I have read in the series this one takes the cake for me. Probably because it was one of the longest running characters and I actually really liked him.

Even the arch to the prison didn't get me like issue 100 did.

As far as the TV shows go, issue 100 is still a season or two away. But if or when they do it will be a shocker to say the least.
