Another death that means nothing because it was so badly done. He survives all this time just to go into a house that isn't fully checked, gets distracted by a photo and doesn't hear the walker behind him. Yup, this is the same guy who fought off how many walkers with just a hammer.

You're saying that could not have happened? :p

So far the ASZ has me creeped out. Maybe it was Carol's mom outfit. Maybe it was Carl's girlfriend climbing the fence like a monkey. Maybe it was Beardless Rick. Something strange is going on here. The whole ep felt very uneasy. And I think Carl's girlfriend has Ricks hidden gun. The dopey son of the Senator needs to get bitten, quick. He was a joke.

Daryl's line was absolutely hilarious when he saw Carol, especially because there's so much truth behind it, after everything that has happened.
I agree, everything felt kind of "off", those kids... and I hope that that had the purpose of us feeling that way (I do read the comics but it's not a 1:1 adaption anyway - Daryl?!) to prepare for a nice season finale....

When Carol inquired about Junior League? I was rollin'!

Daryl's 'Dinner' line was pretty funny, too.

There are so many changes from the comics that it's hard to see where this will go. Just the gender change from Douglas to Deanna, plus Andrea not being around means there is tons of stuff that just can't happen in the same way.

You do know that Jessie's husband is a creep and will probably not make it though. :p

Is there a rough timeline as to where they are now? It's not important, yet it's been bugging me.

I noticed they skirted the question in the last episode ("How long have you been out there?" / "since the beginning")

So is there a rough estimate how long ago the beginning was? Months, years, how long?

I oddly feel like the group is going to miss the feeling of survival on the road. Fortunately, that may be back in a few episodes. No place has ever proved to be safe permanently. Not the prison, not Woodbury, not Terminus and I wouldn't expect Alexandria to be any different. Just a matter of time.

To me Carol and Daryl were the stand outs in this episode. Carol was flat out creepy when she was being interviewed. Not to mention the clumsy, little ole me, with a big gun, when she was putting the gun on the tray.

Daryl had some great one liners in the show........ So it should be interesting in which direction they take this. Like others have said, there are some differences from the comics, and those little differences could be big as we get to know the ASZ families and folks who are currently living there.

Did anybody else happen to hear the surroundings. There are now insects sounds. I don't remember hearing that when they were on the road or at the other locations. Also, where are all of the zombies? Why do they not have the dead knocking on the doors/gates?

Where did Rick's gun go? Who took it?

It is very interesting seeing how the group is "adjusting" to some normalcy in life and the possibility of a measure of safety. Carol's playing possum is really fun to watch and Darryl is great at just being Darryl. Rick's line at the end of the show was quite scary.

Just as long as he doesn't go Termite on us and "bring Carol for dinner". ;)

I always hate it when Talking Dead announces a "surprise cast member" on the show next week. Makes me worry that someone is going to die. Again.

My hope is that it's just Lennie James (Morgan) who finally catches up with them. They've teased us enough. His character is in ASZ with them in the comic, so it would be fitting.

Could have been that girl that Carl was chasing, but that seems a little too obvious to be true.

Was she going beyond the walls to meet with other people? That was my first reaction.

I need to re-read the comics to see if there was a parallel character I don't remember off hand. This whole bit from ASZ to the most recent 12 issue arc (#115-126) seemed a lot shorter than they really were. We're somewhere about issue 70 and there's almost 30 issues before things really changed.

If they keep up this pace, each episode is just about the same as an issue of the comic book, so we should get to the major events of issue #100 in season 7 at the earliest. Of course they've been fond of changing the order of events so who knows.

EDIT: There are hints of what's going on in the comic books now peppered in the show so that would be an interesting twist. Could Enid be an analogue of Lydia?

Regarding the "Lydia" character, I was thinking the same thing, but was wondering that is really speeding things up and skipping some arc's. That could mean there is also the "talking dead" folks are out and about. That is of course if she supposed to be that character.

I foresee us seeing the "Saviors" at the end of season six. The kicker would be if we see something similar in issue #100 for the mid-season finale of season seven! A lot of folks in the forums and social media are speculating on if they do it, who it will be. I hope they keep to the story because it was pretty damn shocking and perfect at the same time. They changed the mothers death, so I hope they don't change this one.

My Father was visiting and sat down to watch this with us, although he's never seen it before. He commented it was slow. I laughed and really enjoyed this episode as a nice change of pace as compared to survival. :)

Ya got that right. Those are some "Look At The Flour" cookies right there. :D (Yeah, I believe I stole that pun, but it's so apropos!)

:D:D:D Saw that on the Talking Dead too. Hilarious.

As soon as I saw that kid, I started cringing. I thought she would've killed him right then. Are they getting rid of Daryl? First he goes soft, then he's gonna ride off into the sunset on his motorcycle. Little bit worried about him...:(
