Walking Dead doesn't return until October. Tonight is the series premiere of Fear the Walking Dead, the spin off show.

While doing some house chores, listening to TWD marathon on AMC today. Enjoying it. Currently on the episode with the Alexandrria douche bags (reference to 2 individuals, not the entire group) are showing Rick's people the proper way to do patrols. :)

The demise of Buttons... Sad. :(

It just struke me that in 5 seasons of this show I can remember only 2 instances of intimacy between couples- Lorie and Shane season 1, Maggie and Glen Season 2. Love is hard to come by in the post apocalypse world...

Alexandria Safe Zone trivia:
  • The neighborhood used for filming is in the town of Senoia, Georgia adjacent to where Woodbury was filmed. In fact, the water tower of "Woodbury" can be seen in the episode "Remember."

Don't forget Abraham and Rosita! :D

I stand corrected! It's a plus they are not going overboard with this aspect of humanity which I think in real life post apocalyptic, save the species, would become a high priority creative endeavor. :) Although that kind of atmosphere is not real conducive to having babies.

At least they are somewhat sticking to that with regards to the comics! Of course if you have been following the comics, there is a pretty disturbing scene which involves Carl and his eye socket!

I have been reading but am currently behind. Last time I went to Image Comics to order, their arrchive ordering page was fracked up.

Pretty much since it seems like there are only 2 episodes left this season.

hmm...I wonder if the FTWD pilot has generated enough buzz to become a regular installment during TWD off season. Ah well...I still have yet to catch up on the episode I missed this past Sunday

I think that has been part of the plan behind it all along. It's already been set for a second season even before this one aired.

ah ok...at least it didn't get put in the crapper before the conclusion of it...I guess that means it's fair enough to say the masses liked it. I just hope down the line we do see an actual tie in of the two shows, which I guess would mean and end for FTWD, but not necessarily if they spin it right. I'm also worried about how TWD would end too..I feel like I could watch it forever, but also would want tit to stay interesting and not grow stale, which I'm sure Nicotero and the crew don't want either. Can you even end a post apocalyptic show like that? I just would want the show to get boxed in to a never ending cycle or process, find camp, stay, meet people, some people die, camp is overrun, rinse repeat. I guess unless they find a cure...I mean they already ruled out the Rick wakes up from a coma speculation haha.
