Hierarchy??

Importance and relevance come to mind quicker.

People can mourn however they choose. I saw the following earlier on my twitter timeline:

"It is not your place nor does it make any logical sense to quantify grief and then dictate how it should be expressed."

^ and that's all I'll say about that to refrain from derailing the thread further.

RIP Amy!

Very sad. I enjoyed her music. I always hoped she would get off the gear and make a go of it again. She left a legacy for the world of some great tunes.

I think any judgement of drug use should be limited to the decision to start. The power of addiction can easily escalate beyond a person's will to quit. Her lifestyle was destructive, no doubt, but she was someone's daughter and now she is dead. No joy should be derived from that.
Agree completely.

So it's iJohnHenry's fault?

Interesting concept.

I'm saying it's the same kind of mean attitude that you display that drove her to her lifestyle. I'm guessing neither one of you do well with the ladies. You know why? They like guys that are nice, not mean.

I don't know, I usually finish last. :p

Your sophistication regarding the etiology of addictive behavior is impressive.

Since I'm a mean guy, I take responsibility for driving everyone I know to abuse drugs.

Also, your knowledge of my complete failure in my relationships with women is nothing short of prescient.

I stand properly chastised

What a terrible week! 90+ bombed and massacred to death in Norway... and now this. To bad her death will be overshadowed by that event here up north, she really deserved something more :(

You guys are hopeless. I don't blame you, it's the fault of your parents for raising you that way. RIP Amy.

I really don't know much about her, other than her public, drunken behavior. I'm not sure I've ever actually heard a song of hers...I'm just not into that kind of music...so my question isn't a sarcastic one.

Are you saying that some type of bullying was the root cause of her self destructive ways? Or are you just generalizing the reasons for addiction as a whole.

And I thought women liked the bad guys, not the good guys?

Coming from the guy that said this earlier:

I'd tap means I'd do her even if she looks bad. I've been a fan of her's for a long time and you guys are being disrespectful. What did you write in your first post in this thread?

Yeah, that's totally respectful.

Its pretty easy to go back and look......

I don't get why people are saying she didn't have talent and are putting her down by asking what she did... well, didn't she win 5 Grammys? I believe that's an accomplishment that none of us here have achieved. I didn't care for her, but I am not going to bash someone who lived a trouble life.
Justin Bieber won a grammy. The award is not as important or prestigious as it used to be when talented artists won it. It is barely above the VMA at this point.

As for her death, it is sad but not really a shock. To be honest I am surprised she lived as long as she did.

The fact that you would "tap" a person who is cracked out and not in their right mind is telling of your character.

I don't think it is being disrespectful to say that we are not surprised she has died. I'm not happy she died, and while I feel bad for her family, friends, and fans, a blind person could see that she was going to come to an early death.

Even her mother said so in 2008:
I realize my daughter could be dead within the year. We're watching her kill herself, slowly.

Please spare us the armchair psychology.

BTW, anyone know when Justin Bieber turns 27?
