I say sell it. What insurance did you use?

O2 premier insure (uk)

anyway. It's too late. My wife is sat playing with her 16gb 3GS and I sm on her old 8gb 3G.

Oh well I think it means I will be "allowed" the new iPhone when it comes out in a few weeks.

Sold my 32GB 3GS two days ago on eBay for £483, minus the eBay fees/paypal/p&P - got about £460. Paid £549 to get it on launch on o2. So I essentially lost £90 over almost a year.

Using a 6300 now! So missing the QWERTY kb!

I would wait to see if Verizon is coming out with an iphone. ATT is hoping to lock all you people in for 2 more years before the big move to Verizon.

Wait.

What a waste of a post.

I attempted to sell off my iPhone and use a cheap GoPhone to "save money" for a while. That lasted all of about two days. Same thing when I traded my 3GS for a Bold.

Sounds like a personal problem to me. :p

It may be personal, but it also seems to be quite common.

Just trying to be helpful. ;)

I remember I had the same problem almost two years ago when they came out with the 3G, and I had the original iPhone. I sold mine ahead of time. I bought a cheap LG phone or something from circa 2001 or something. It awful writing messages on it.

Now, since I moved to Japan, and the charges are so high, and the official carrier of Japan doesn't have good coverage where I live, I've had to ween myself off the iPhone. It took at least 4 months of paying $300 phone bills till I was even ready to admit that I may need to stop.

Now, I haven't used the iPhone for a few weeks, and I decided to sell it. I'm shipping it out this weekend. I think I'll wait to see how I feel about buying the new one.

But the biggest complaint I have is the lack of qwerty pads on regular phones. Even in Japan, with all their cool gadget phones, its still a pain to type on them. I spent half an hour or more this morning writing an email to my girlfriend. I could of done the same thing with the iphone 5 minutes top.

That's how I am right now until iPhone 4 comes out... sigh.

I've been thinking about selling my 3GS 32GB for awhile. I have an old beat up 3G as a back up if I decide to get the new iPhone. Mine has normal wear and tear marks on it I never used a case on it and the screen has no scratches. It's still under warranty...would $350 be a reasonable asking price for it?
