I'll answer.

Yes, Siri is useful. I wouldn't want to create reminders or timers any other way. It also does a fairly good job of playing individual songs by name while in the car.
 
Keep in mind that this "rumor" about the iphone 5C not having SIRI is coming from a Wall St. ANALYST! They never know anything, and not only that, they usually make up negative or positive news to manipulate a stock. I bet this guy is short Apple, and wants to try and put a subtle negative spin on the new low cost iphone ahead of its release.

You are so so wrong. Phones are far from end game. Mainly the AI and voice recognition in them is terrible compared to where it will be five years from now. Phone's from three years from now will make this year's phones look useless.

The only things that are nearing end game is the screen can't get appreciably sharper and the phones can't get meaningfully thinner. Also, at least on Android side, they can't get any larger.

I think deliberately crippling it in the software will hack a lot of people off, so probably not the best approach.
 
This articule makes me laugh!

There is no hay that Siri wont be supported on iPhone 5C!
There is no way that the fingerprint sensor will be only to unlock the device!
There is no way Apple can make a good phone for 300$ off contract.

I cant see how Apple can make 4inch device with decent 4S like CPU, retina display, 16GB of memory and 1GB of RAM (which is what I expect from the iPhone 5C) for less than 379$.

The iPhone 5C has to bee 200$ cheaper than the iPhone 5S off contract in order to fit in the product line. If 5S is 629$ off contract, 5C will be 429$ off contract. If its more than 429$ it wont make any sense for me and personaly Id prefer the 5S and pay the extra hunder+ bugs. If its less than 429$ ill be extremly happy and buy atleast 3 on day one (for me, my girlfriend and my mother)

I cant wait to place my first generation iPhone on ebay. Still in my pocket waiting for his replacment by another iPhone.
 
lol what a load of BS, it won't matter what it does or doesn't come with, if they don't increase the screen size I can't see Apple stopping the rise of Android..
I couldn't care less how thin it is..just give us a larger screen!

Siri

Why is it so ridiculous to think that the 5C will not come with Siri. It's not a hardware issue. Apple plans on selling millions more 5Cs the 5Ss and with that many more people using Siri could make it even worse to use. Munster could be right.
 
These phones are going to suck.

Why wouldn't Siri be on it? Not that I care because it really isn't used, but the fact that its been proven to work fine on even the iPhone 4 makes it hilarious they wouldn't include it. Its just Apple being Apple.

Apple normally locks down features to get people to buy the more expensive product or upgrade more frequently. Don't kid yourself, people were easily able to use Siri on the iPhone 4 when they hacked it to work, yes, it was slightly worse since it didn't have the better noise cancellation found in the 4S, but it worked just fine.
 
Personally I'm just hoping for the $300 price point off contract. As the prices of factory unlocked used iPhone 4S and 5 models will plummet.
 
wait.. there are people who still tries to use SIRI? no freaking way.

Now onto better news... $300 is awesome price as I don't expect apple to bring out really bad device.

Now onto not so great news.. iphone 5s? BLEH!!!! Same screen size? BLEH@@@@#$@#$
 
I am going to laugh so hard when Apple announces the 5C and it doesn't come with Siri.

That is an interesting theory. If Apple pays a per phone fee to Nuance, it could be s valid reason to leave it off some phones.
 
I would gladly trade Siri for a cheaper iphone. I don't really use that feature anyways, what more with google now available on IOS.

the 5C will come with Siri, but it will not come with the fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor will be the main 'differentiator'.

Why would you 'laugh so hard'? It's up to Apple to decide the differences. I see Apple shooting themselves in the foot if they remove Siri. People see so many Apple ads right now with Siri in them, that they associate Siri with an iPhone. If the 5C did NOT have Siri, I would be more like, 'Ok, Apple... bad move in my opinion. You're going to have to prove to me that it was a good move. I'll watch sales in the next quarter'. And then Apple will probably be right. sigh.
