Doesn't make any damn sense.. Let's see I'm not liking my 5.5inch phone but would like another 5.5 inch

I think they hate their phones because they are android but have been stuck since they were the only ones to offer a 5.5 inch screen

Switched from Note 3 so it's that that big of a difference in size. But I love the 6+ way more than my Note 3 already.

This... I've had the G3 for a bit and it's hands down the most complete android phone I've ever had considering the screen, battery, and camera are all fantastic. The 6+ is the only iphone I would consider, since I like a larger screen phone, but I think I will wait until late Winter if so.

I also have considered switching to an iPhone because everything else I own is Apple, but after comparing my LG G3 to the iPhone 6+ I just don't want to give up the compact size of the G3. For both phones having the same size screen the G3 is a lot smaller and easier to handle.

I will be keeping my 6+ and the xperia z3 that'll be here next week. Going to sell my lg g3 coz the battery life is just terrible

Switched from S5 to iPhone 6. iOS is still lacking in a lot of areas...

Things I miss

Google now
Back button
Attaching files in email
Notification bar

Am I missing something? Ok Google/Google Now, works on IOS as well as google maps. I just wish I could switch it with Siri.

I went back to Apple with a 6+ after owning owning a Galaxy Nexus and Samsung GS4. I was just waiting for a bigger screen to come back home.

What I miss so far with Android:

- back button
- app drawer

That's it...lol

Exactly the same things I miss about Android. On the flip side, touch ID is amazing.

I've had every iPhone since the first one launched in 07. I've also tried the S2, Note, S3 and Nexus 5 in between. I switched back to the iPhone yesterday from the Nexus 5, and honestly it's not what I expected. The 6+ does not feel comfortable. It's hard to manipulate, and it doesn't fit my pocket very well. Also, because most apps are not optimized, everything looks blurry.
On the other hand, the 6 is pretty good. Nice screen, comfortable, and still compact.

So far I'm missing the price of the N5 and the Moto 360.

The g3s screens blows the iPhone 6plus screen out of the water. The g3 has better resolution and DPI.

How long does your battery last?

My impression is that, for having the same size screen as my Moto X, the iPhone 6 feels HUGE in my hand compared to the X.

I came from the Galaxy S4. But I am fully invested in the Apple ecosystem, so I was looking forward to switching back to the iPhone. Sure there are some things I miss from Android, particularly some widgets. But the pros outweighed the cons when it came to switching back to Apple. Really liking the new iPhone, and I'm glad all my stuff is back in one place.

After a little over a day of use, I'm impressed with this phone. I took my phone off the charger around 9-10am this morning and have been using it all day. Mostly texting, streaming spotify to my car via BT, some navigating, and some tapatalk. And I still have over half my battery left. That is fantastic! Even with heavy usage, I know I could get a day easily with this thing.

Stuff I like about it

- Screen is crisp. Can be read outside
- Speaker isn't too bad. Decently loud
- iOS8 syncs up perfectly with my Audi and BMW.
- Set up Touch ID and it works great for unlocking the phone.
- It's great to finally have iMessage up and running. I used to be a casual iOS user with Android being my primary.
- Size complaints are ridiculous. This phone fits great in my hands. Had no issue throwing it into my pant pocket
- Power button on the right. Thank you Apple for listening!
- Camera is fantastic.

Stuff I don't like about it

- Back button! I keep tapping the right "Space" next to the home button instinctively
- Headphone jack on the bottom. I never liked it here on the iPhone 5 or my old iPod touches. It's annoying
- Apps look like crap. Especially Facebook, FB Messenger, WhatsApp, TapaTalk, etc
- Terrible case selection. No one has good cases for them yet.
- iMessage doesn't sync texts to Android users (obviously will be added soon enough with Yosemite)
- Google Now is better than Siri.
- Notification Center Widgets seem pretty useless so far...

Anyone recommend a good app for divx/MKV player? I use VLC on my iPad and it's pretty terrible. I use MX Player on my Android phone and it was fantastic!

Long time Android user here recently got my first iphone 6+ and upgrading from the S3.

Quick rundown on what I miss about Android:

-as some others have echoed notification led. Its nice to be able know if I have a new text from the other side of the room without checking the phone.
-back button and menu button
-much more useful notification pulldown
-expandable storage
-Applock which allowed me to lock individual apps (gallery, Facebook, etc.). A two-stage security in a way. Is there something similar on iOS??
-widgets for weather/time
-Swiftkey. iOS version isn't as functional as the Android version (no swiping left to erase the last word). Hoping this changes as updates are released.
-Google maps with separate Navigation app

What I like about switching:

-the feeling of owning an iphone. You don't really know how to feels until you have one
-apps that weren't available in Google play
-being able to plug the charger in any way. Really helps in the dark.
-touch ID. Saves a lot of time each day unlocking
-legit build quality
-great camera
-huge selection of cases, accessories, etc

So far so good. Very happy with my upgrade but might consider the Note 4 when it releases in October. Time will tell but until then enjoying the new community. Cheers.

I really like the spigen ultra hybrid case! Nice to have a good case that doesn't look huge and overblown like the otter box cases!

Yeah, me

I switched to the iPhone 6 Plus. I got pretty much bored of Android, I had a rooted Galaxy S2 with Cyanogenmod in it, it wasn't a bad phone but it was annoying seeing the force closes, soft reboots, battery life issues. I could've went for something like a Galaxy S5, but I've decided to try the iPhone after liking my mom's Gold iPhone 5S. I'm loving my 6+ and I don't regret it, it plays great with my Hackintosh :p

I am a habitual switcher, I have had a 4s, Windows phone, Galaxy s3, and most recently a Note 3. I have had blackberries also before the 6 plus. The battery life is impressive, much better than the Note 3 that I just switched from. I have 75% left right now, and unplugged this morning at 9 am. (13.5 hours ago). It is an iPhone, so it depends on if you like ios. I have always disliked how narrow iphones are, but I think I like it on the 6 plus. It seems easier to hold than my Note 3. Good luck, it's great to have a choice

Came from the Galaxy S5. I chose the Iphone 6 for the "premium feel", IOS, Facetime, ApplePay, better Apps, Security, and ecosystem with my Apple TV, Ipad Air, and Ipad Mini.
