They could use the notch as part of an app.I have no idea what that means.
Good idea's - but this is about new UI so Apple should take the lead instead of being bureaucrats with rulesThey could use the notch as part of an app.

Developers are responsible for the UI in their apps. And who knows what updates Apple may release?Good idea's - but this is about new UI so Apple should take the lead instead of being bureaucrats with rules
At that age - an iPod Touch or iPad is a much better bet than an iPhone. Do they need LTE/cellular capabilities at that age? No. My daughter is 6. She has an iPad. We can iMessage us or family members. An iPhone would be a huge waste of monthly cost and expense.
All of my other kids had a phone at age 13 - a flip phone. Once they showed us they could take care of it for a year and they saved up some, they could get an iPhone - but they had to pay for part of it.
This is Angela Ahrendts. She believes everyone needs to own things, especially expensive things.6 or 7 years old. Really?
They probably ran out of stock and decided against funding more for the 7 Plus.Wonder why Apple stopped selling the 256gb iPhone 7?

Like cancer. Why not? Everyone can use an iPhone. That is the point. They are simple to use, while also holding incredibly powerful capabilities.
Actually, the idea is to upsell. As a former Apple Store employee, this is how things always worked. The idea is to match the customer with the product which is truly right for them.

“If it's someone who's leaning into something else, what do they need?”
What does this mean? I am puzzled.
I still don’t understand why references to Ming-Chi Kuo almost always require the inclusion of some sort of laudatory modifier, like “a reputable Apple analyst at KGI securities.” Here and on other sites, he so frequently gets the additional boost, to the point it’s kind of wierd.
It's always been true. Why have commission in a place where only 35% of the staff sells? Apple retail has historically paid they're employees quite a bit more than most other retail joints. Part time specialists start at around $15/hrIs it true store employees get no commission? I remember a few months after the Apple Watch was out, I tried to convince my spouse to get one since I loved mine. When we were there, I tried to tell my spouse all the features and the staff simply said "It is not worth buying", which was kind of dumb.
Why would they need to upsell? Apple's never tried to upsell customers, they simply present options at multiple price points and let the customer decide (with some guidance from apple store employees)Does anyone believe this statement? Apple did slow down production of the 8.
