Nabbed some peaches and cherries (I think from Zeke). I was a tool and accidentally sold the cherries that were offered me as a gift in game.

I'll add you and swing by to pick up some pears. To delete my old card, you just go to the friend list, tap Settings and then select "delete friend card." From there you can tap any card and it will prompt you to delete it.
Gates are open. I have left some things, mainly fruit, but also duplicates and things I don't want by entrance. Feel free to take what you want. I will leave gates open for at least half an hour before heading to bed.
Gates closed. Will probably check back in a few hours. Hoping someone opens gates that has some fruit that I don't.

Maybe someone can help me with perfect fruit...
Apparently I screwed the pooch as I sold my original lerfext orange (apparently when you start the game you get one perfect native fruit from the getgo). So what I have done is planted about 20 trees around my house, chopped down the rest so I don't have to run around finding them all, and am hoping for a perfect orange to grow eventually.
So what I want to know is simple. Can I just shake the trees and leave the oranges on the ground? Essentially I don't want to waste time picking the oranges up since they sell for next to nothing. I just want to shake the trees so that it can respawn in a few days. If I don't pick up the oranges, will that effect what spawns next?

I know they stay on the ground for quite awhile. The perfect fruit is not that special, the perfec trees you plant eventually stop yielding fruit.
As soon as I can get an axe, I'm gonna cut down all the non-fruit-bearing trees and plant new fruit trees.
Well I think the point of that is to save some perfect fruit for planting - you can make a lot of bells using perfect fruit the right way - especially if you store them up for visiting a non native fruit city.
Oh - does anyone know if fruit will go bad if I store them in my closet for a few weeks?
I've had a bowl of cherries in my house for a week now and they are still fine.
Okay cool - trying to save up a bunch of baskets of 9 of my native fruit to sell at a really high price in someone else's town - 10 baskets would amount to 45,000 bells!

From what I read, perfect fruit can be sold in another person's town for 3,000 Bells a pop, unless it is also their native fruit.
To answer my own question, you have to pick up the fruit.
I have a couple of perfect oranges that I would like to take to someone's town who does not have the orange as their native fruit to see how well they sell. If they do sell for 3k/per then it is worth planting the heck out of them!

I would recommend planting that perfect orange to grow a whole tree of them. I sadly sold my perfect cherry without knowing that you could plant them to grow full perfect trees.

Do you have the flower shop up yet? Leif, at the flower shop, sells either the ax or the watering can, depending on the day.
Also, a tip: The ax breaks after cutting down about a half a dozen trees or so. Even if you already have an ax, since it's a limited item by the day, it's a good idea to buy it when you see it and throw it in storage.
