Anker Raises Prices on Amazon Due to Tariffs

That's assuming people will buy a new iPhone next year! I'm perfectly fine sticking with my iPhone 15.
The distances around here are 10x less than in the USA, so you might actually end up paying more in the end.. Having grown up in Canada and now living here, I know what I'm talking about..
Does Apple make power banks? Not sure if Anker has gone down hill in quality as some are claiming, but the power banks I bought a few years ago are used often and going strong.
But Trump said that tariffs were paid by the other country!!!

While greed is likely a factor, don't forget that in the US there is 1 year warranty vs. 2 years in the EU and the UK.
Fortunately, we can rest easy knowing that the tax cuts benefiting both the President and his supporter Mr. Trump will be paid for by these tariffs.
My iPhone 13 Pro Max works just fine (note: I was already unlikely to upgrade before all this tariff nonsense started).

Similarly, Lenovo is beginning production in Vietnam this month. (they started that process years ago though, likely due to the changing workforce in China)
My experience with Anker products has been good. My seven-year-old USB hub and an iPhone charger have never given me a lick of trouble. If there is another Chinese brand that enjoys a better reputation, please post its name as I feel certain we'd all like to know about it. Thx.
Perhaps when they realized the increase in site engagement? Everyone's gotta pay the bills. MR is my only "social media" and while I don't subscribe, I do make a point of not having ad blockers on for MR visits, just trusting Safari to keep things in line.

Same experience here; we’ve bought mostly cables in recent years but all our Anker buys have been wins for us.
I'm sticking with my 13 mini, but I was already part of the mini "hunger strike" movement, hehe.
I didn't know Anker was Chinese but I can say that they make good products.
Of course we are. It is fine when the rest of the world applies them to U.S. companies.

£269 in the UK, so that would be £224 net of VAT, approx $292 before discounts and trade ins. Includes free earbuds. Looks like you don't get that in the US, either.
