I had a white macbook with the high plastic gloss, good machine and it was nice. They were popular on college campuses.

Here we go, now people don't like the "cheap" iPhone....first they cry wanting a cheap model, now its "too cheap" lol....
what do you expect? wasn't better to not ask apple for a cheap iPhone and sticking with the 5 and 4S being the "cheap" iPhones?
this is never going to end, thats why I'm glad apple makes great products and charges what they want and consumers that want premium product, pay for it, otherwise we all have "cheap" android options on the market in millions.

- Those that call it cheap will call it "great", "love it" etc
- Those that that are throwing their ridiculous prices of $200-$250...get real...even samsung "Mini" or cheapest model of the S4 or even S3 doesn't sell for $200-$250 brand new at a retail store.

I'm not sure I like the idea of a "cheap" iPhone. Apple has never been about cheap... I like the way they do it now, with the previous generation cheaper.
Besides that, I think the design is going to be very much like this, but I don't think the text will be that "in your face".

Are we sure this isn't just one of the many knock-off devices that have appeared over the years. That port on the bottom looks suspiciously like a micro-USB connector and not a Lightning Connector.
you misunderstand the idea with a lower-cost phone. it's to produce cheaper hardware in order to lower the cost in order to sell it to markets unable to spend $600 USD on a phone. iOS isnt a part of that. material costs are.

This is worrisome not Apple at all doesn't scream like top quality material used to make the outer shell, you won't be buying a whole new army of cases for it and no more OCDing due to its cheap plastic back, who da hell cares if it gets scratched right?

False. There have always been a huge number of macrumors members who kept hating after the release of the product/software. If it's mainly because they don't want to seem impressionable, that's still a question, but it's silly to assume that there are only sheeps here.
