Any updates to these apps working with Mavericks?
Thanks!

They all seem to work ok. Avid Media Composer 6 or 7 doesn't install, hopefully Avid fix this soon as it's the only think holding me back from upgrading.

In fact the only other media related software I had trouble installing was a Canon XDCAM codec utility.

I've found that VLC actually has several annoying bugs on mavericks, although it appears to work fine at first. Both relating to fullscreen video.

1. If using VLC's "non-native" fullscreen (The default setting), the dock can get "stuck" displaying over the video. This happens if you alt tab from another app that is in osx's "native" fullsceen mode, and then alt tab back to the fullscreen vlc video. The dock will be stuck above the video until you un-fullscreen vlc and re-fullscreen it.

2. If you check the "use native fullscreen" option in VLC's preferences two issues occur. When you close VLC, even if it is not fullscreen when you close it, you will see the OSX fullscreen desktop switching animation occur. The other issue that occurs is that the OSX dock sometimes gets stuck in autohide mode after using VLC in fullscreen, even when you have autohide disabled in system preferences.

And the last issue I saw, which doesn't really affect usability but isn't pretty to look at, is sometimes when opening vlc it minimizes then un-minimizes itself.
Movist and MplayerX work much better with mavericks (MplayerX has a crasher bug, but there is a build floating around that has it fixed). I had zero issues with movist.

Remote desktop not working

Hi I get The Remote Desktop administrator software does not match the installed client software version. on the new mac OS for remote desktop.

Hi, if anyone can inform me if there are any issues with the following I would be grateful:

-Air Video Server 2.4.6 beta3u1
-Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.7
-Colloquy 2.4.2
-GMATPrep 2012
-The Unarchiver 3.9.1
-Transmission 2.82
-VMWare Fusion 5.03
-XtraFinder 0.17.4

Thanks.

I'm going to attempt to install Mavericks over my current ML install after I have my Time Machine backed up.
So far are there any apps broken in Mavericks???[/QUOte

After Mavericks update I can no longer access mac App Store ( the app won't run) . The new "Maps" app won't run and "Ibooks" doesn't work either. So far those are the only ones I know about... there may be more.
Anybody out there know what's happening?

The Unarchiver 3.9.1 works!

Bias Peak

Bias Peak 5.2 seems to be broken on Mavericks - throws an error saying another copy is running on the same machine... Deleting preferences makes no difference and, of course, Bias is now dead (no doubt partly because of their terrible DRM!) so no recourse... Peak 6 now works (but can't transfer the license because the authorization server has gone). Sigh...

Steam is working fine for me.

Steam works but a ton of people are reporting issues with both Steam games and others which seems to range from intermittent slow downs to apps locking up the entire OS. Probably some updates from game developers in the works over the next week. I know the driver for Razer Naga is iffy now.

Warcraft III LAN confirmed as NOT working :( ... I'll have to dual boot Snow leopard (or create SL VM) or use XP virtual machine :(

Well, this is interesting. On my new iMac, Photoshop CS5 will not launch nor open. It is working fine, however, on my 2010 MacBook Pro. Prior to my upgrade to Mavericks, it was fine...

Update: Nevermind, I needed to update and install Java Runtime. Everything is fine now.

OK here it is folks!!! I installed 10.9 right after it became available on the 22nd and it refused to run Calendar, Contacts, Maps, Ibooks, Appstore, software update and many others. At times the icons in the dock would disappear. To make a long story short, I reinstalled 2 more times with the same result and it wasn't until Wednesday afternoon when I reinstalled a third time that everything worked perfectly.
The only thing that I can attribute to this difficulty is corrupt downloads probably due to overburdened servers. So what do i know!!!!!

Can't Install uTorrent on Clean-Installed mac.

Strange, installed uTorrent and working great here.

Stupid question but if you go into Preferences > Security and Privacy > General tab; do you have the button checked next to Allow Apps downloaded from: Anywhere?

Undercover 4 constantly crashes. But if you log in to the website they offer a coupon to upgrade to 5 which in my case was free for the household license!

Xmarks for Safari 1.4.3 (latest as of this writing) uses SyncServices, which was deprecated with 10.7 and removed entirely in 10.9. Needless to say, it no longer works in 10.9.

Left/right swipe is not working in Tweetbot for Mac. There are also some screen glitches. Reinstalling the app did not help. I e-mailed Tapbots but didn't get a response yet.
