Any Best Buy orders updated?

Just got notification that my series 1 that they said would come on october shipped via fedex as well. But i already went in store and got another one. I had no patience. Will just return the other one in store when it arrives lol
 
What's the deal with our best buy orders? Is apple filling all of their preorders before any 3rd party? Reading other threads people who were originally given date of mid October from apple are now getting their watches next week.

For those of you Best Buy folks still looking keep checking their website. I checked the Apple app, website and Best Buy's site several times today. Nobody had any S2 watches of any size/color. I randomly checked the Best Buy site for a 42mm SBSS S2 around 7 p.m. and it said they had it! They must have gotten more stock later in the day. I called the store to confirm and they said they had 1. I quickly went to the store and it was there. In and out in about twenty minutes. Keep checking the websites if you don't want to wait. There were a few other stores in my area that showed them as well. This was a nice turn of events after preordering with Target and them delaying at the last minute.

I found them by putting my zip code into my search results and then the tab for my local store showed availability.
 
Hey guys maybe just go check your local bestbuy instead of the actual website. I just waked out with the series 2 white model and they had the pink series 2 and all black 42mm series 2 in stock. I would call or check instead of just going by the inventory online & my local Apple Store has some instock..go figure.

My Best Buy keeps insisting that the "release date" was pushed back to the 28th and they absolutely won't have any until then. Has anyone else's store expressed this?

That's what mines said but as I posted above I went into a store and picked one up.

Spoke to another Manager at Best buy and he said an internal memo to all best buy stores says that Series 2 will not be in the stores until the first week of Oct a the earliest.

They are unbelieveable lol. If you speak to them again you can tell them people are getting watched in Best Buy stores in NY and not Manhattan.

Maybe the SS models... but the Sports models are in stores.

I checked inventory of the Sports model and seen some in stock. But nada for the SS models.. greyed out. I guess Apple isn't fully ready for launch..

It's just too many models to produce.. Series 1 & 2 and then different Sports models. On top of that Sports vs SS. Then SS vs Black SS.
 
I found one at my local Apple Store, bought it. Went and used the $50 BB gift card. Then cancelled my pre order. Worked out pretty decent got the watch only 1 day after launch

How were you able to use a Best Buy gift card at a Apple Store??

I'm sure you weren't able to. As those cards are specifically for Best Buy
 
Let me clarify... I got the watch from Apple Store. Then went to BB and used the $50 gift card on a Roku stick, just paid the tax since it was $49.99. Then after walking out of BB I cancelled my BB Apple Watch order. Shortly after got an email from BB confirming my cancelation
