Any Best Buy orders updated?

Did you use the "Pick Up Today" search filter on the website? That shows some pre-order only series 2 watches in stock at my local Best Buy.
Yes, yesterday it didn't show any (even though the worker told me they had and sold plenty) And then this morning it showed a couple of options that were in store but you couldn't select "pick up" and it just said available for preorder.
Mine still shows the 28th. I really hope they are correct about the 21st... Targets preorders have already started shipping and some of them are receiving watches on the 20th
Just spoke to best buy to try to change my shipping address which they said wasnt possible till the item shipped... which to me seems a bit absurd but that led into my next question of when will it ship and her answer was at the earliest 9/27...
no one has a clue. Target orders are already being delivered. I will never order from Best Buy again.
Odd. I called Saturday and changed my shipping address since I will be out of town when it's "supposed" to ship. Id try back.
My order now says processing instead of preparing...
Yours had switched to preparing? So you're saying it went back a step? Mines been on processing since the 9th never changed. What pisses me off is just that every Other company has started shipping the series 2. Apple themselves have shipped out preorders that originally were scheduled for late October. Someone is dropping the ball big time.
Decided to call back... Some important updates:
1. on a personal note there is something glitchy with my shipping address that the system wont allow the change and I do actually have to wait till it ships for some reason and try to do a shipment alter. Dpn't think Ill be taking that risk
2. Lady I spoke to read me all the notes she had on the Apple Watch Series 2... she began saying that it looks like we will see shipments on the 21... then as she began to read on she said "all customers who ordered the apple watch series 1 have the option as of today to pick up in store as well." Thats when i stopped her and said "wait are you reading for series 1 or 2" she didnt realize there was a difference and the 21st date that people had been giving out was for the Apple Watch Series 1.. She then found the notice for Series 2 and it still says the 28th

Have you tried checking your order status?
Just checked my order and there is a blue link to make changes. You can then change to in store pick up, change shipping address, or change shipping speed.

But you can't reserve it online. So I don't know if its really there or a error. I used the PICK UP Today Tab and just kept changing stores. DAYTON MALL is showing it too.
I have the Original from launch day. 42mm SS. But I'm going to wait until they go sale. at Best Buy or else where like they did last time. I may also only get the sport or even series one. Mine lost to much value to justify spending the extra for SS or I might just wait until series 3 comes out.
Yeah when I try changing it after submitting a few seconds later I get an email saying that the address was unable to be updated.
Thanks! I saw that all day today. I think it's an error on Best Buy's end. I just checked and it says pre-order.
They have no idea. When I picked mine up at Best Buy today first the guy told me they had none. I insisted they check since their app showed the SG 42MM in stock. I then told him about my pending preorder and the 28th. He then said "That's early, we've been told October 14th." He then told me their online stock info via the app was wrong 90% of the time, right as the other person comes out with the SG 42mm Series 2. Guess I was part of the 10% today.
Yep, I just picked up my Space Gray Aluminum 42 a little bit ago here in Los Angeles (well, Glendale really).
Calling is a total crap shoot, the Glendale store told me they hadn't gotten ANY in. A really helpful feller at the Burbank store happened to check area stores and sure enough, Glendale had plenty of Series 2 watches on the floor (38mm) and had also just gotten a few more 42mm as well, which they pulled for me no problem.
Also, the SKUs on the web come up as not found when you use their automated inventory lookup over the phone. So talk to someone and have them really check.
Walked in, picked my watch up and cancelled my pre-order on the spot- easy peasy.
It's not an error, my local store showed stock on the app and I went down and bought it this morning. They had received 4 of the SSSB Series 2. Ordering for pick up wasn't an option so first come first served.
I checked again as soon as I got to work after and then it showed none in stock.
So are we confident that the "Pick Up Today" filter is accurate? It shows the model I want in stock at my local Best Buy. I can't reserve it -- it simply says "Coming Soon" in place of the "Add to Cart" button; but on the Search Results page when I filter to my local store, it says "Pick Up Today".

Good luck! I got to my store like 20 mins before they opened and didn't have any competition in getting it but I was pretty sure someone else would have been coming for it.
Went to the local Best Buy, customer service employee checked my preorder (42 mm AWS Series 2) from the 9th. He said it should arrive to my house by the 27th so atleast it isn't further into October. Canceling my apple order was one of my deepest regrets 
Yeah it sounds like Best Buy does not allow you to reserve it online but they do have it in their store.
You just have to find a willing best buy associate to help you, either they don't wanna look it up for you or have been misinformed.
Most are not that willing sadly lol But there are a few good apples (no pun intended) that will be willing to help you out.
