How do you like it?
I'm honestly happy I canceled mine. The case looks pretty cheap, and the camera cutout seems poorly designed/too large around the top.
Also, the mute button seems too recessed, as well as I'm not sure how the lsather buttons for the volume will hold up over time.
Interesting to hear others opinions though.

Thank you for the pictures.
I love the color, orange is my favorite.
I do not mind the camera cut out as long as it does not look terrible and does its job without problems. That one seems ok but I am curious about the mute switch, does it work well?
What I do not like is the bottom part, it really does not look good and it is a shame because overall I like the case.
I applaude the choice of the black borders on a space grey phone but as I already wrote, I am not sure how the case will look on a white iphone.
Also, it does not have a lip.

I hope you will enjoy your case, but I will not buy one.

PS: would you mind to post a picture showing the inside of the case?

EDIT: I may be wrong but the thickness reminds me of the vaja grip.

Thanks for posting pics and I too am interested in your opinion on the case, the thickness, what's the inside material, buttons. Etc.. It looks thick, but that may be useful for drops.

The case feels premium and "hand made" - the bottom is a shame but the plus is I can use it with any dock now without taking it off. Mute switch is impossible to use without long nails but its not a deal breaker for me. A lot of work went into the presentation with the box, reading materials etc.

The case is SUPER THIN, which is perfect - no "puffiness" at the back - theres even a genuine leather smell as well. As far as is it worth it? Depends - there are cases selling at tekserve for $129 that are mass produced - in my case, I am ok with it.

Too funny and too true:D

I've already ordered my back-up which should be arriving in about two weeks.

I have this case, (Noreve, right?) and it did arrive quickly. For the price, I like it, except my case is ivory and there is no black frame around the camera cutout, so flash photos are blown out. I wrote to them about this, and basically, they don't care. I took a black Sharpie to the camera cutout edge, so it's usable.

Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone orders anything but black from them.

Yes, lack of lip was a plus. Also, the case comes off easily (too easily if you ask me). The camera cutout if fine and doesn't cause problems with the flash like a lot of cases out there do.

Thanks so much for all of the pics alinefx, really appreciate it

Strange that it doesn't have the front lip on it after they said it would have one

That, and the large cutout at the bottom of the case just looks horrible.

I agree, the box and the reading materials look great. The handwritten notes are always a good touch for handcrafted products.
Still, there is no excuse for the mute switch. For this price tag I pretend something at the level of apple cases in terms of functionality, with the better quality being the reason of the more expensive purchase.
I am curious to know why you see the lack of a lip as a plus, sometimes I lay the phone face down and I think it is quite useful.

I think the comments on the thickness are related to the fifth image you posted.

That leather on the case apple uses would be my dream case.
Do not tell me :(

Alan, let me add my thanks for your posting pictures as well.

While it's hard to be objective not holding it in my hand, to my eye, that case looks anything but cheap. Lots of work went into its fabrication and presentation.

I prefer cases that protect the top, sides, front, back, and bottom, to a degree which is why I ordered the "Book". It'll be interesting to see how they've configured access to the buttons, etc. on that model.

Yes, it is Noreve. The color on the one I ordered is called "Mimosa"; a sort-of gold, tan-ish, yellow

Sigh. And that would be in character for the Noreve customer service I dealt with before. I had hoped they'd improved. How good does the Sharpie trick look, and does it work well with the flash? I suppose if done carefully, it should be fine. I'd be going with a rather bright color, and it's the last thing on earth I'd want tinting all my photos.

The plus to going with them is they have excellent leather choices (far more colors and variety than Calypso) and they're mostly cheaper than Vaja if you don't pick the most expensive leather they have. The minus, of course, is seems to be the case with all these companies, their supposed 100% satisfaction guarantee isn't worth the pixels it's displayed in.

Decisions, decisions...

It may sound stupid but I am wondering if cases like calypso book or the vaja agenda are comfortable while taking pictures or during phone calls.
I always found them to be classy but at the same time I am worried they would not be practical on an iphone 6 plus.
However, I can not find a grip case that I like and using a sleeve seems to have more cons than pros. I may try this type of protection at this point.

My husband has had a BookBook for the last two iPhone models and is about to get a third. With the iPhone 5, he takes more pics than I do, and he doesn't remove it from the case to do so. Now to me, it looks awkward & uncomfortable & silly holding a small "book" up to take a picture. But he has no issue with it, and never considered another case style. Likewise, he makes more non headset calls than I do, typically lengthy ones with his family, and again, it looks odd to me. All in what you're used to, I guess. I'll personally stick with a grip style.

Might be worth a try...there are plenty of inexpensive wallet cases that would be good for experimenting with so that you don't end up wasting a ton of money on something you end up hating in actual use.

I' m sorry, but i really don' t like it.
Seems like a rushed product.
The cutout on the bottom if the case is poor craftmanship.
And the black lining on the sides is just... Too much.
I would be furious if i had waited so long and payed that much.
I would get a vaja agenda case for that kind of money, or a vaja grip and and an apple leather case together.

The sharpie wasn't the best choice, it's kind of shiny and looks like an oil slick. A leather dye marker would have been better. Probably no one will notice but me. I think any color other than black will have the camera flash problem. I had a cheap teal green case while waiting for this one, and all my flash photos were washed out green.

Noreve does have nice colors and textures. I wanted a flip case for my plus, like my old leather SGP. Now that I've had it awhile, I like it for most uses, I fold it back and it fits in my car mount just fine. It's a bit of a PIA to maneuver while using the camera though.

I have a couple of side-flip cases and I don't like holding those, the top-flip is easier in that respect. I may just end up with a back case and a sleeve.

I'm mostly bothered by the limited-edition concept. It seems like a gimmick to charge more than it may be worth. Most likely it is also limited to as many as they can sell. I could be wrong, it's just my impression.

Mannn, sorry guys but personally it just looks nothing like what I expected. I was comparing the leather pics to Valextra and Hermes at one point...

I guess I got lucky in canceling cause the return back to where they are made would of been another hastle

I agree. I am glad I got a refund. Doesn't seem like it's as high quality as their previous products.

The cutout on the bottom isn't shown in any of their pictures on their website anywhere near the way it actually is. I really don't see any use to making the cutout that large. The Vaja Grip has a very small curved cutout on the bottom that allows it to work with docks... but its styled so much better than this one, this one looks like someone just took a saw and removed a chunk of the case after it was already finished or something.

I am now curious to see the book.
From the picture on their site it seems to have the black border on the bottom but the leather seems to stop where it stops on the cabrio.

Anyone else receive theirs yet?

I've since looked at one of the Cabrio's up close; the opening at the bottom of the one I examined was every bit as gynormous as Alan's. I sent an email to their CS, the jist of which was if the Book model had the same butchered opening, they could cancel my order as well. No reason I can fathom to cut a slot that big and continue it up the back of the case.
