So, my concern about vaja customer service is confirmed. I can see it as a vein of the leather but it is so particular that you can not ship it and just pretend the customer will appreciate it.

Regarding calypso, remember that the only thing we know is that they got overwhelmed by the preorders. That should imply that some refunds will not be a problem for their business, maybe they will help them process faster.
A delivered case and/or some more pictures and people will start to order quickly.
My concern is related to the functionality of the case itself. Volume buttons, inner material, jack, mute switch, material of the black borders and so on.
I understand the customer experience is one of the worst I have seen but if the cabrio just works, I may give it a try. It is really the only alternative to the apple case if you are not convinced on vaja.

Thanks for your post. I was ready to pull the trigger on the Agenda, but after seeing pictures and reading a review on another thread, I decided against it. When you're paying $100.00+, there's no excuse for sloppy-anything; seams, veins, colors, etc. And the fact that they're pissy about returns doesn't help their 'case' (pun intended);)

I ordered a "Book" in Calypso's line; I have a feeling those are proving to be a bit more problematic to fabricate.

I ordered on 15th Sept with expected dispatch of 3-4 weeks. I've since chased this three times and each time have been told it'll be 'next week'. This morning got another response saying another 1-2 weeks.

That will take it to double their original quote time.

I'm really not happy. Especially as the responses I get are the very patronising handmade, quality, etc guff. I KNOW this, that's why I paid a fortune for the case. THEY knew this when they quoted original disptach times. This is not a valid excuse for poor service.

I just can't get an honest answer out of them.

Does anyone have an email address for the founder, Matej Kurent?

err, yes. for the 6 plus. does that put me way down the pile of products likely to be delivered this side of christmas?!

It seems they followed the sleeve->cabrio->book route.
Based on the almost two weeks between the sleeve and the cabrio pictures they will probably ship yours two weeks from now, just like they said.
My opinion is that they are currently working on it, something that sounds weird considering your preorder date.

This is what they do to everyone who emails them, they promise it will ship out "next week at the latest" --- and then throw out a bunch of nonsense marketing words in order to try to hold you over. Things like "Our master craftsmen are working full speed" and "We are not taking any compromises with a product like this, we want you to be amazed".
