Not to mention the fact that CalypsoCrystal chose to put itself into the luxury brand niche by its own choosing. If they were selling $30 iPhone cases then people would surely cut them some more slack [not that they deserve it]. However, when you advertise your company as one of the premier makers of high end luxury iPhone cases then you better deliver. On their website they say things like "Discover true luxury customer service.", they assign serial numbers for iPhone cases to make it feel special and limited, they give you certificates of authenticity to make you think people want to counterfeit the case, etc. They do all of those things by their own choosing, trying to mask themselves as a HIGH END LUXURY brand, which they are clearly not. Do other high end brands not deliver on taking a photo of their main product for over a month? No. Do other brands keep making excuses about shipping delays? Nope.
Its one thing to have huge demand, as Apple does with an iPhone every year -- but part of being a true company and high end brand is managing the DEMAND and expectations. If they have HUGE DEMAND then they should raise the shipping times for cases, not LOWER them as they did recently. Multiple times their own employees have PROMISED it would ship by a certain date, and to this date, it never has.
Thats why people are upset. They got convinced this was a good brand selling a luxury case, and after 6 weeks they found out what they really were dealing with.

Also:
THREE weeks ago you guys sent an email with Serial Numbers saying the case is "looking great" and "we're just putting the final touches on it". That leads everyone to believe that its almost finished, right? So now three weeks later, you're here trying to justify delays when the case was supposedly almost finished three weeks ago? If you're making these things "one at a time" then why did every single person with an order get their serial number at the same time? Seems hard to make everyones case, assign everyones serial number, and almost be finished with everyones case
all at the exact same moment in time. [and this was 3 weeks ago
]. Maybe the marketing manager can explain that.
