any Calypso Case people waiting?

"We ship our products worldwide with DHL delivery service. Due to incredible demand we expect to ship newest orders case in 2 weeks."

That and the note from Matej:

"We are in the final stages and the first products are being prepared for delivery. All your orders will be going out in the coming days and weeks, depending on when you placed your order. We are expecting to cut down the lines by the end of the month so we can ship all the new orders the same day they are placed."

I am staying positive and hoping that they are in full swing..... and orders will start going out early next week.

I caught that too. I'm guessing a close up shot by the angle which would distort the "pebbling" in the leather; make it look larger than it is.

Also, depending on which pictures you look at, "Sydney Morning" runs the gamut from a medium celery to slime green:confused:
 
To those who received serial numbers or the email from Matej for their case's... any news on shipping this week?? I noticed the only new thing on the Calypso Facebook and Twitter website is the closeup of the black Caviar leather today.

Supposedly they will start going out sometime this week... But that's been the case for the past few weeks now. I'm tired of seeing their pics of upclose leather :(

Yeah, with no pictures of the actual cases when they have already delayed shipping 1-2 weeks. Not a good sign.
 
This is starting to remind me of the iP4 Vapor case debacle all over again....I have no luck when it comes to this case buying game.......It is very weird they can't provide a single pic of a finished case at least

I went through the whole ElementCase Vapor thing too, so I guess looking back I should have been more skeptical in this case. A lot of these small companies create renderings and then use the money from preorders as a sort of venture capital in order to try to manufacture the case… but its often easier said than done.

EDIT #2: Yes I also noticed the bad reviews. It is a shame because the gold version looks stunning.
Anyway, I followed this thread since the first reply and I really hope you will receive your case.

Their comment that everything is wrapped when it's manufactured sounds fishy. Have these people been in business for a long time? What company wouldn't get a final sample from the manufacturer and post a few photos of it? Or just unwrap one of the freaking production pieces?
 
Their Facebook page shows packages being shipped out. I find it hard to believe the cases would be packaged up and ready to ship BEFORE any pictures of the actual cases are put online.
 
Yeah I have also read the reviews about the Radius and the only draw back I keep hearing is the light scratching that can happen with use. The thing looks very nice though....nothing some glue dots can't fix. I do hope Radius has read these reviews and fixes this issue. I have plenty of time to wait since my Calypso is MIA...
