Probably going to cancel my Cabrio and take a chance with the Radius (they say this scratching problem has been resolved....) and if not I fully give up and use my Apple Care as my "case" like I promised myself I would haha

I received an email this AM pushing my shipping date up to next week; that would make my wait time 42 days. Lots of folks here have waited much longer. The good news is they're responding to emails.

BTW Alex, that Radius is pretty cool:cool: If I wasn't such an old butterfingers, I'd grab one of those, just for the un-case factor, if nothing else.

They told me next week as well, its been 27 days since I ordered. I honestly don't know what to think at this point.

1) They refuse post a single photo of an actual manufactured case even though they are supposedly shipping out tons and tons of cases everyday. This is pretty much the most obvious sign that not a single case has been produced... if you have an awesome new case that a lot of people are messaging you about, why on earth not snap a photo of it and send it out (build the hype)? Especially when you're shipping 30+ cases out daily (according to their Facebook photo).

2) Shipping times keep getting slowly pushed back every week due to "high demand", however even those whom ordered at the very start like Knliebe, still haven't had theirs shipped yet. They supposedly ship them as they're completed, so why hasn't anyone anywhere online received theirs? If there is a huge demand for the case then someone somewhere would be showing off the case. As of now there is not a single photo online anywhere of an actual case.

3) Whenever there is a group of people questioning them for photos or ship dates they either send out an email (serial number email, a week later the manufacturing process email) or post some photos that seek to calm the masses (yesterday everyone is questioning them about shipping, and up comes tons of cases supposedly being shipped out).

I dunno, feels like too much of a coincidence. I'm going to cancel my orders pretty soon and just move on for the time being. Getting tired of their excuses.

Also, they are supposedly making these one by one, right? So why did they send out a serial number email to EVERYONE who ordered a case 12 days ago --saying that they are just putting the "final touches" on it and "its looking great"? If they are created and manufactured one at a time as they claim, how could everyones case magically be created, assigned a serial number, and almost finished at the EXACT same time? Seems impossible? I mean people who ordered 45+ days ago got this email the same time as people who ordered 20-25 days ago.... which makes no sense.
 
Strange way of doing business by not putting up actual photos or anyone receiving shipping info as promised last week. I went ahead and ordered a VAJA Grip case, which is in stock...for half the money so I will have something when I travel next month. Still hoping my Calypso Cabrio case ships next week as promised.

They did post a really amazing image of what the certificate of authenticity looks like though :rolleyes:

Yeah they sure have an easy time posting pics of useless things like pieces of leather, DHL shipping bags, and certificates of authenticity... but they can't post an actual pic of their most important product for the life of them. :rolleyes:
 
Officially canceled my order. They refuse to respond to email after a week, they use deceptive tactics, and are very unprofessional.
Cases are "shipping" already but they can't post any pictures of a real case. I highly doubt anything has been shipped yet.

Keep us informed on your cancellation request and what will be your plan "B" case..as there may be others here doing the same..
 
I received a full refund in under 24 hours this was their message:

"thanks for letting me know about that. We will cancel your order and fully refund your money.

I ordered via Paypal just because it was an overseas purchase and I had the option of opening up a case and I guess they knew this.

My first reply was something along the lines of "your case will be shipped next week, we can offer a refund by return"

I said this: "I would prefer you to not ship and pass my case on to the next customer. Please don't ship and refund me thats it"

I received my refund this morning. So thats it guys I am officially out, still hope you guys that are holding strong get yours
 
I was hoping for a sorry the case is made and is shipping as we speak...the quick refund lets me know that they might not have anything to ship for a while

I've jumped ship over to the Radius case, hopefully this one works out

Yah I saw that, they look nice :cool: I don't think anyone here ordered that case though, so it won't do much good :confused: That case is basically just a leather pouch -- which is what their signature case originally was, so they had some experience making that kind.

Seems they always use the excuse that they have too much demand when explaining their delays. Really too bad that they can't just man up to production problems and give a new, reasonable timeframe. Whats the point of trying to lie about it?

I'll try out the Vaja Silver maybe depending on the design. I contacted Vaja and its supposed to be available for order next week. Looked nice from the one photo in my Vaja brochure :cool:

One of those reviewers theorized that the cases were made in China, rather than Slovenia, which would explain the shipping delays. That doesn't particularly bother me as my 6+ was made in China, as have all my current and previous i-devices.

I've emailed Calypso that I'll wait until October 31 before placing the amount of my purchase in dispute. It's now up to them to deliver.

Oh, and 2nd choice; Vaja Agenda:D

The cases being made in China would make a lot of sense as to why they refuse to post real pictures of the cases when they are supposed to be done already.
 
If I dont have a tracking number from Calypso by mid-week next week, I am cancelling my order.:mad:

But then again, I am expecting to have my Portenzo case next week so I may be a little distracted.;)
