I think the plane to Warsaw is a bit lost, he's gone past ;)

There are a few passenger flights into Warsaw showing delays so I guess he's off somewhere else.

Now it is in Cologne, you would think it's just around the corner. The aircraft that would normally fly Cologne - East Midlands, did not make it to Cologne earlier.

I need to get out more!

Is that N357UP? I'm new to all this flight tracking stuff. Previously I've just constantly refreshed the ups or FedEx tracking site.

There is a UPS MD-11 on the ground in Cologne that probably need to get back to US, hopefully via East Midlands.

I couldn't see a lot of flights from East Midlands to cologne, it seemed to be mainly the other way, suggesting UPS go elsewhere in Europe before heading back to the U.S.

I looked and saw they normally leave overnight out of Cologne so hopefully it can get to the UK overnight. Whether it will travel by road on the bank holiday though I don't know.

Ideally we need to see a 'Cleared Customs' update on the UPS site. UPS DO do overnight domestic transit on a bank holiday. I have no idea if they do any sorting and routing at the hub.

What the hell, my order status just went from 'Awaiting Payment' to 'Processing Items'. A few hours ago I got an email saying the payment failed and I should go to order status and check my payment details.

Tried to re-enter my VISA, failed authorization. Hmm weird. Tried my Mastercard, failed authorization. Went on netbank to see if something was up with the accounts or the cards. Both were active and accounts looked fine.
Tried my second Mastercard attached to an entirely different bank. Also failed authorization.

So at this point I'm pretty sure the problem is with Apple's payment processing, and I was just going to wait until telephone customer support opens 4 hours from now. But now I see that it is no longer awaiting payment, so I guess Apple cleared it up by themselves?

If it turns out the initial dispatch is delayed because of some issues with Apple's payment processor then I will be royally pissed. It might mean missing delivery by thursday or friday and end up in 3-day delay until monday...

Mine went to "preparing for shipment" tonight :) Finally!!

SG base model to Germany, 7-15th of May delivery window

Had the same thing, noticed that the status changed to awaiting payment a little over a week ago. I updated my payment information to another card and it went back to processing after that. And it still is. I did see the reservation on my statement and that reservation disappeared the day before yesterday so I assume something is happening soon, But I don't have the illusion that it's going to be delivered this week. :(

No progress overnight, still in Cologne with just an arrival scan.

Anyone expecting delivery tomorrow? If so is it also in Cologne?

Exact same thing has happend to me!

This morning I called the 80 24 96 25 support telephone number and talked to some UK guy and explained my troubles. He said my problems have now been correct and my VISA card payment should be validated shortly.

It's been 4 hours now and it still showing up as proccessing items :-/
I will give it a few days and see if things are coming along.

Well, that's good then. Germany is where the EU shipments are split and UK stuff loaded to US route. Shocking really .. almost a month from ordering!

This would make sense... if there had been any EU shipments on the plane. But it looks like the UK is at least a week ahead of the continent as far as getting rMB's.

Mine finally changed to Preparing for Shipment as well (base model SG, Switzerland)

That's the same as mine. If yours is due tomorrow I'm guessing it'll fly out later today. Are you far from East Midlands airport? Intrigued to know why mine isn't due until Wednesday. My local UPS is in Gateshead near Newcastle.

Mine is shipping to Northern Ireland so pretty far I'd say.

My status changed to 'Preparing for Dispatch' some time this morning. I called up that number too, to understand what was going on. The guy said my VISA payment had now cleared and it will end up delaying dispatch by 1 day.

I suppose they will try to dispatch later tonight from China. I got the payment error notification at 3 AM this morning from Apple, so I guess that is when they finalize everything before sending it off from China.

My delivery estimate still says thursday 7th may. Yours?

Edit: Btw, the guy didn't accept that I was suggesting the error was with Apple's payment processing. I just don't see how it couldn't be when my cards are all active and working, below the 30 day international charge limits, and distributed among different banks even... Were you perplexed by the failed authorization as well?
