any European members with status ''shipped''?

Just to make sure, did your status change before you made the call and talked to the guy?

My status hasn't changed in any way, and is it still stuck on processing item and delivers 07 May - 15 May :( What is really weird is that along with the macbook I also ordered the USB-C to USB adapter and the USB-C digital AV adapter. All of it is made in the same order but for some reason it has been split up and the USB-C to USB has been dispatched. Nothing was wrong with the payment at that time so I don't get why it suddenly fails. I haven't changed anything :confused:

Being a student I ordered through the site https://www.myunidays.com to get a discount. I was worried that this might have messed up the ordering in some way but then it does not make sense that the usb cable would go through with out a hitch.

The guy didn't really give me any reason for it failing just asked me some questions regarding the billing address - I guess to validate my identity? Anyways it is supposed to be fixed now but I sure would like to see the status change to preparing for shipment ASAP, so far it hasn't yet :confused:

I never heard of that site, but maybe that's just because I live in Europe, but why you didn't order at Apple?

Being a student too I orderd one at Apple Store for education. I got around €100 discount on my 1,1GHz Gold MacBook 12".

Ordering through the danish apple education site I would get a discount of 6%, going through this site would give me 8% instead. Granted that is not a huge difference but being on a budget I need to save where ever I can :D
 
Mine is still showing "preparing for shipment". How long does it usually take to finally ship? C'mon Apple, put it in the box and send it along already.
 
Mine is back to "Processing". It was on "Preparing for shipment" till 5 minutes ago.

I think they wouldn't have changed it to "preparing for shipment" if they didn't have a designated device for the order.
Plus, I ordered immediately after the Apple Store opened on the 10th.

My remaining patience is really limited at that point.
 
Ordered 1.2/512/Grey on 10/April 3.43pm (+1)

Received notice my credit card failed to pay, called the bank and got it corrected.

Card charged on the 3rd, and Monday noticed status change from Processing to Preparing to Shipment.

delivery to Geneva.

Huh, the tracking just updated to change the time of the departure scan from about 0630 to 0930. I find UPS' behaviour to be strange and confusing sometimes :)
 
After it was gone since Friday, the pending charge/reservation on my creditcard is back again. This is getting weird.

Hmm, which flight was that? I found two UPS flights from Cologne to the US this morning, but the times didn't quite line up (in that one flew half an hour before my departure scan (which has since been modified anyway) and the other flew a couple of hours before the scan).

Edit: Also, which tracker are you using? I've been looking on flightaware.com and it doesn't seem to show stops en-route.
 
my order changed from "preparing for shipment" back to "processing" today !:mad:

Update: It changed right now back to prep. for shipment again..."dispatched" would be better.

Flightradar24.com I think I was using (at work so not 100% sure) the flight number is the same for the Germany to UK and UK to US legs of the flight which makes tracking tricky.

My ups has changed to say dispatch was now 9.24 which is odd. Maybe that's when it left East Midlands? No idea what is going on :)

Interesting. It's also odd that it's now about 3 hours since those revised dispatch times, and there has been no arrival scan yet. 3 hours is a lot more time than you need to fly from Germany to UK!

Maybe they missed their slot on the early morning flight to East Midlands this morning, so are taking a different route now? There's still a lot of hours available before they need to be at local depots for delivery tomorrow :)

Yea, it changed before.

My status has been at 'Preparing for Dispatch' since monday morning. Delivery estimate 7-15 may. There's no way they will make it by the 7th let alone this week :(

Usually their delivery estimates are pretty spot on or they surprise you by delivering even earlier...
