Ah ok. I don't know what IDEAL is but my understanding with Apple is that payment is normally taken very shortly before the goods are shipped, yet your estimated delivery dates are a long way off. Perhaps you'll be lucky.

Paying with IDEAL is direct online banking with one of the participating banks (for example we have over here Rabobank and ABN Amro). Mostly paying with IDEAL is only available in The Netherlands.

This thread has been pretty much on topic so far. So far no one has gotten anything past credit card charged (i.e. nothing past "processing" on the Apple website in the past 16 days), including for people like myself who bought base models in the first minutes they were on sale. I'm guessing that when the first person does get a shipment date, s/he'll be posting here in all capital letters with exclamation marks right after they find out.
I suspect that there will be a flood of posts within the next few days. Hopefully...

There are two problems about that:
1. It doesn't actually tell us when we will have delivery, only that we will have them before they are available to buy in store; and
2. In my experience talking to Customer Services tends to produce a different answer each time you call. Apple are not alone in this unfortunate trait. The bottom line is that, in reality, they don't actually know very much at all. Just like the poor guys working in Apple Stores. They are kept in the dark.
I'm in the UK, ordered gold base model about an hour after pre-orders went up.
Strange how everyone seems to have a week delivery slot (between dates I mean) whereas I have a 2 week one with 'between 15th-29th May' which is a bit annoying.
Do people actually think they will be getting confirmations of dispatch this week? I ask genuinely, as I doubt mine will but have never been in this situation with ordering before.
Normally it's a pre-order and it arrives the following week. If only, eh!
Having spent time with the rMB in Trafford Centre on Saturday, I literally am running out of patience waiting! Ha.

Yes, not called Apple Store here. I was in the Dubai Burj K Mall, so bloody big that even with the electronic maps it took me 30 mins to find. Everyone else is in the Electronics Section, but not Apple, they are in one of the dozens of Fashion sections.

Has anyone had any accessories shipped or change status? I find it weird that these haven't either. It's like they have a date in mind before they actually want to start shipping anything to us lowly Europeans. Ordered these right after ordering my rMB yet they have an earlier date by 3 days on each end.
