Instead of pressing in the center after laying it down, I started pressing the outer edges then worked my way towards the center. That worked for me.

That's a good idea. Now that it's down, it will be easier to manipulate...I'll try that.

Yeah...this is beyond frustrating. Now the halo is in a different corner. Wow. I'm gonna see if I can get a replacement. Scared to take it off too much it's either dust under it or halos. Both are not acceptable for me.

How did people set up a replacement? I sent a message yesterday through the order screen, but haven't heard back.

iPhone 6s Plus and ordered one from Aliexpress. It took maybe 4 weeks to get from China to Australia.

I reapplied it a few times to get the alignment right and made sure there're no trapped dust or hair. There were lots of air bubbles and so called "halo" around the edges.

I applied firm pressure and over a few days all said bubbles were gone and it was perfect!

My experience is that as long as it is aligned properly and there are no dust, all bubbles can be massaged/pushed out.

But I was too clumsy and cracked the perfect protector in 2 months.... :(

When do you take it off, see if the thickness of the rounded edge differs between screen left and screen right in the areas you're having bubbles. I suspect that was the issue with my screen protector, as I noticed that after I decided to take it off and send it back to Amazon for a refund as I got tired of waiting for a correct replacement from Godosmith. Eventually a replacement showed up but I haven't tried again with that second screen because I haven't thought it would be right to use it. Godosmith previously refused to accept return of the black 6/6S screen sent in error.

I have the Ice Max 3D on my 6S. I found that with some coercion, I was able to get the glass to sit perfectly without any adhesive bubbles underneath the glass. I found that with some cases, the lip of a case would push on the glass and cause bubbles to form. I found that the Apple Leather Case was perfect for the Ice Max because the lip of the phone went over the glass and made a nice transition. I currently use a Shumuri Slim Extra and have had no complaints, I enjoy the slimness of the Shumuri and it doesn't interfere with the glass at all.

what case do you have on the last picture?

Ok, so I've got he Godosmith Ice Max 3D installed on my iPhone 6 (NOT 6(S)). and I have to say that I thought I did a great job in regards to alignment and dust. I am, however, less than satisfied with the result:

I understand that small bubbles will disappate, but these looks like an adhesive issue to me. *SIGH*

Here's the video:

[UPDATED: 1 hour after install and doing my best to rub/massage the protector to encourage adhesion, there is ZERO difference.]

UPDATE #2:

Man please...if The glass doesn't fit on The left it means that you have to put The glass more on The left side. And if it doesn't fit on The right you have to align The glass more on The right side. So easy. Don't tell it's a glass issue. It's so ridicoulous :)

You haven't done much reading or research on this issue have you? You also probably failed to watch the 2nd video, didn't you.

Oh well, if you can't figure it out, I'm not going to waste my time holding your hand. Best of luck.

They are now selling these on Amazon in the UK for £15.88.

Do you think that is a fair price, there are a lot of similar protectors at much cheaper prices, is the Ice Max worth the extra.

I wonder if they have improved it over the months since release, they have been out quite a while now.

Once fitted can you tell its on, is it very thick, does it have a quality finish to it and not look cheap.

That's really cheap compared to the price I paid at $29 which is about £20. GodoSmith seems to have improve product packaging multiple times already but for the main product, I can only speak for my experience. I placed my order in early February with an ETA of Late February to Late March. It arrived in late March and the product was too small for my 6 Plus. Due to this, some portions of the display are being cut off from view by the Ice Max.

I contacted support and they were really great at providing me options to whether have a refund or have a replacement shipped. It should be noted though that you may experience headaches dealing with them since English is not the support people's first language. So far, I'm still waiting for the replacement product and hope it's better than what was initially shipped.

It's a great product and their customer service is pretty good...but it's a BUGGER to put on! It's doable, but it has to be placed PERFECTLY to avoid any bubbles or "halos."

However, if you can get it on correctly and be patient, you won't be able to tell there's a screen protector on your phone.

Thanks for the info guy's,

I think i might give one a go, with it being fulfilled by Amazon there should be no problem returning it if there is a problem with it.

I have purchased this screen protector for my iPhone 6s Plus and i have a very specific problem with the front facing camera. It appears that when there is a source of light facing the camera some soft of white exposure is applied all around the photo. I tried to align the glass properly several times but i always get the same result. Anyone else having this problem?

Mine does the same thing. I don't really use the front-facing camera very much so I hadn't given it much thought.

It is actually a deal breaker if this is standard behavior! The seller was willing to replace my glass but I don't think the a new one will resolve this issue.

Has anyone used this with the RhindoShield PlayProof by Evolutive Labs? I know it would be a tight fit, but I'm hoping some have had success without lifting.

Anyone?

Hey guys, mentioned this in a different thread, but I'm on the fence on the Ice Max. Can any of you comment on the thickness? I know it used to be 0.19mm (I had one back in Nov.) but people are saying it's thicker now. Also, I'm surprised by the front-facing camera issue, but that makes me hesitant to pull the trigger.

Any thoughts/experience would be great!

Hey, guys. Just got a brand new 7 plus and had an Ice Max 3d all ready for it, but I effed up the install... Is it possible to clean it somewhat thoroughly? The alternative is waiting weeks for a new one, or buying a "normal" non-edge2edge protector, which I hate!

Did you use the 6+ version and used it on the 7+? Didn't think they released a new one for the 7+ yet?
